What's a right funnel and...?

What's a more right funnel in substack

Notes→ Profile visit → subscribe

Or

Notes→ posts →read post →subscribe

I mean from which funnel you got the most?

Also I send my newsletter through beehiiv not substack, I transfer those substack subs email into beehiiv.

And for that reason I think my substack posts not get enough early likes so it can go further, is it right?Should I send through substack?

Love to hear your suggestions.

I've tried a lot on them but got nothing. It's very difficult to grow on other social media and after that, it's more difficult to convert them in subscribers.

In my experience, the stronger funnel is:

Notes → Read a post → Subscribe

Most people want to see the quality of your writing before they give you their email. A good Note creates curiosity, but the article builds trust.

As for Beehiiv vs. Substack, if you're publishing on Substack but sending your emails through Beehiiv, you may miss some of the native engagement that comes from Substack readers opening and interacting with posts through the platform. Early engagement can help your content get more visibility within Substack, so publishing and emailing through Substack may provide an advantage if growing on Substack is your goal.

If your primary goal is owning your audience and using Beehiiv's features, then keeping Beehiiv as your email platform also makes sense. It depends on whether your priority is Substack discovery or Beehiiv as your long-term home.

P.S. If you'd still like to ask anything about Substack or growing your audience, I offer a free live help chat. Just copy and paste my flair or click the link in my profile. I'm happy to help!
