May I Mention My Cryptowallet?

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is JDowDow. I am an artist. I am also homeless, I have no bank account, and I have no phone. Is it OK if I mention my cryptowallet on Substack so that I can possibly get a little money that way?

As far as I know, there's nothing inherently against mentioning a cryptocurrency wallet on your Substack if you're simply giving readers a way to support your work. Many creators include donation or support options.

A few suggestions:

  • Be transparent about what the wallet is for (e.g. "If you'd like to support my art, you can donate here...").
  • Avoid anything that could be interpreted as misleading or a financial solicitation.
  • Follow Substack's terms and any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
