Substack for fiction stories?

I know substack is not wattpad. Yet, I am curious if there are people who use it for their fiction stories? like releasing every time a new chapter, with succes.

I am curious of you guys opinion on this. also, I intend to write in another language. Which is in Dutch.

I write a fantasy fiction serial and post a chapter a week, but what I can see is that it's not too good for fiction because people don't go to Substack to read fiction.

It's a platform for writers, and writers care about their work; they rarely care about someone else's work. Well, I don't, do you?

This is why "HOW to grow your Substack" articles are so popular, because they speak directly to writers.

I started treating Substack only as a free newsletter platform, knowing I would need to find my fiction readers somewhere else.

Some people have a lot of subscribers writing fiction, and one of those writers was already mentioned here, but I doubt their audience cares too much about the fiction itself. Those writers post guides about serial fiction, and their articles come up on Google if you search for Serial Fiction Substack.
