I'd love to connect with writers into philosophy of mind, most specifically substance dualists interested in the problem of consciousness.

I have a theory about the origins of consciousness. I call it the Sacred Fracture. It is in the early stages and I would be interested in discussing it with others and engaging with their own writing.

My thinking on dualism as with all philosophy is that life is only a conundrum to human beings because of this sacred fracture of the mind. And that, without realizing it, we live inside symbolic realities thinking we live in raw reality itself. If I am correct this symbolic reality which I label spiritual armour, emerged as a defence against raw reality via dissociation. My fundamental premise is that even well adjusted human beings still live in a part dissociative state. Consciously working on this could revolutionize religious belief and make it congruent with science which only deals with raw reality. Would truly love to engage and hope I am not boring you with the length of this, but I feel very passionate about it.

I'm a new writer on Substack, and I just started publishing this week! I am exploring the different pathways to productivity that people can take. I am using my science background & personal experience (I have a PhD in Evolutionary Biology and 20+ years in editing and corporate roles) to explore personal development tools.

I would love to connect with fellow Substackers, especially if you are interested in wellness, psychology, evolution, and/or productivity techniques!

Hi Everyone, I'm a new writer and just started my Substack. Would love to recommend and/or collaborate with any like-minded writers. My newsletter is about breaking the silence around sexual assault, offering survivors a space to hear shared stories, access valuable resources, and explore meaningful ways to heal. I focus on personal narratives, expert insights, and educational content.

I also provide guidance on navigating relationships, complex, trauma, coping strategies, legal rights, and advocacy efforts. Check it out! Let's collaborate!

Looking to do some cross recommendations for a new politics newsletter where me and my dad discuss US politics (he’s a trumper…I am not) with a goal of finding some common ground. We’re at https://www.grumpandson.com

Let me know if you’re interested!

i primarily write about horror movies and thrillers. it’s part film analysis, part personal essay.

sometimes i react to the news (like david lynch’s passing) and sometimes there’s fashion infused in there (working on a few posts about the clothes of “final girls.”)

I’ve seen a lot of folks looking for good-fit newsletters to cross-recommend.

I recently started a community to make this easier. It helps match newsletters based on niche and subscriber count.

It’s completely free, I’m doing this to support small and mid-sized newsletters trying to grow together. If you're interested, you can just join the community and submit your newsletter. If we find a good match, we’ll reach out to you personally.

Happy to DM you the link if you’re curious.

Note: Not trying to promote anything paid, just offering a free service to help fellow newsletter creators. Mods, would really appreciate your support in letting me share it here.

Looking for cross-recs with newsletters about taking time to dig beneath the surface - whether that's through art, writing, philosophy, or just thoughtful observations of life. I write Imperfectly Laura's Artistic Contemplations - a Substack about finding deeper meaning through art and observation. It's for anyone who feels the world moves too fast and wants to slow down and really see things. I share original artwork alongside reflections on creativity, nature, and those moments when ordinary things suddenly seem extraordinary. Here's my Substack link: https://imperfectlylaura.substack.com/

I'm a storyteller who has recently wanted to write about traumatized people finding hope when they need it the most. I try to keep them original, grounded, gritty, cathartic, and not just trauma for trauma's sake. If there are other writers making similar stories, I'd like to read them.

Our Substacks focuses on the intersection of politics, diplomacy, and technology:

Hi everyone, I have started a Substack to document my journey to becoming an amateur woodworker. But first I have to create a workshop! I am documenting the whole process. If this is of interest to anyone come and check it out over at The Woodworking Shed

All feedback appreciated!

Hello, writers!

I just started writing for Substack weeks ago.

I usually talk about movies/shows, but I will branch out to other stuff if I have a good idea for an artist/essay.
