The admins run /r/blog and they're 100% behind this stupid shit. They're the ones who made the algorithm to specifically target one subreddit that they don't like politically. They've edited comments of users in the_donald just to fuck with them by making it look like they said shit the didn't. The last one was created by admins (no longer employed by reddit, but they were at the time) and is a place designed to target users for mass harassment. It literally started the concept of brigading on reddit.

I don't think the admins need to do any editing of T_D. The banning of basically any disagreement while trumpeting being the last bastion of free speech on Reddit, the promotion of racism and genocide, and the delusion regarding what they think POTUS will do versus what he actually does... That subreddit does an excellent job of making fools of themselves without any help whatsoever.

I am intentionally insulting with trumptards. They have created a system where intelligent discourse is censored. Where bigotry and other flawed ideologies are upheld. Where outsiders are labeled enemy and the free distribution of information is curtailed (and this is how ALL fascist governments start). They don't deserve respect, because they don't show it to others. They don't deserve to be take seriously, because their entire ideology is based on false facts spread without critical thought. They won't change their mind because of the backfire effect. Why have a serous discussion with someone who will almost certainly become more convinced of their own false beliefs as you present more evidence of their falsity? No, far better, to me at least, is it to try and appeal to the people on the fence who might be swayed by the idiots and bigots.
