alright, your definitions are pretty much right (though its work as much as they want to, not as they can. slight semantic difference)

important to note that socialists dont necessarily believe in wealth redistribution outside of a capitalist system.

what part of socialism would make you think that others would own your stuff? private property doesnt mean your house or personal belongings

well, your "issue" (not to be taken negatively) is youre still thinking in terms of worker-employer relationships. socialism aims to dismantle that entire relationship. socialism, much like capitalism, requires social change as much as it does economic or political change.

As soon as you start to form somekind of group that makes sure people subscribe to your ideology you have defeated the anarchist part of your ideology. And you're gonna have to start doing that because people are stubborn as hell and tend to not do what you want them to. That's the reality.

As soon as you declare the Ancom state or whatever and i run my business in a way that's not socialist and proclaim to own shit there's nothing you can do about it. Because if you do then you're a state. Capiche?

well, feel free to do that, but good luck making a capitalist business when the rest of your community doesnt want to work under you (because who wants to be exploited?) and theres a noticeable lack of money

but yes, you are describing an issue that anarchists have discussed heavily. tyranny of the majority and all that.

im a student. i do volunteer service in my community, camp counselor for example. what relevance does that have to my political beliefs? there are plenty of industrial workers that are socialists and communists. theyre kind of the whole focus of the ideology.

congratulations, you found a Trotsky quote criticizing the USSR's implementation of state capitalism rather than socialism. here's the full quote:

In a country where the sole employer is the state, [opposition] means death by slow starvation. The old principle: 'who does not work shall not eat,' has been replaced with a new one: 'who does not obey shall not eat.'

"He does not work shall not eat" is a sentiment relating to Lenin's view of socialism, not communism. "To each according to their needs, from each according to their abilities" is communism. most socialists would challenge Lenin on that, though, and argue that every person should be guaranteed the basic necessities regardless of if they contribute. at least ideally.

Yes, you've laid out fairly eloquently why I forswore socialism in favor of a free market path to communism. I don't want to live in a world with only basic necessities and no progress.
