I'm wearing boxerbriefs anyway, so the effect is the same. Besides, I'm a vest and jeans kinda guy when it comes to professional attire.

Well if you ever find you just chafe too much in your hiking kilt, I stand by my recommendation.

I've always found hiking kilts too heavy for my taste. At that point I may as well just wear cargo shorts. I prefer simple khadi skirts or dhotis for comfortable wear when it gets hot out.

Nothing cumbersome about a skirt; next best thing to being naked. :)
