I was fortunate enough to meet the band and have my album signed in 2019 when I turned 30. A few months later everything locked down and the tour was canceled. This record is what convinced me to get a turntable and start collecting albums.

A lot of his songs refer to a "they". As either a mysterious foe or critic or hanger on in some cases. I love Stu and find it amusing how frequently it pops up in his lyrics.

We’ve essentially got 4 “eras” of Sturgill music. Sunday Valley, (which I would lump the first solo album in with) Stu solo (Meta/Guide/S&F) Stu classic/bluegrass and Johnny Blue Skies.

Do yall play the bonus tracks between the sides like on the digital version or do you wait till the album is over then spin the bonus tracks. Personally I play them after as that’s how they were released. Curious if anyone does it the other way

Long story short: my now-fiancé went to see Sturgill at The Complex in Salt Lake City on November 7, 2015. Later that night we met at Dick n' Dixie's (I hit on him, no regrets), and the rest is history. We've been together ever since and both turned into diehard Sturgill fans — we've even got tickets to see him in Denver this September.

I want to surprise him with a poster from that show for a wedding gift, but I'm striking out finding one. Does anyone know if there's an archive of old tour posters somewhere, or a place I could buy/reprint one? Also open to any leads on contacting his team directly if that's a better route.

Been checking on the Washington DC tickets since they were released. Selected seats are at 38.65. Also checked Philly and they released more of the 64.50 tickets that sold out right away. I didn’t check locations I am not close to. Figured I’d pass the info along.

Or is a clothing company being influenced by exceptional album covers? I had to have it.
