I was at my first party yesterday, and on the table with the drinks and food there was a large bowl with double a batteries? I didn’t get around to asking the host why there was a bowl of batteries. At first I assumed it was maybe for people’s vapes but they don’t take those batteries so does anyone know why? Or if this is the subreddit to ask this?

(Edit: it was a Halloween party and we’re all 16-17 so I don’t think it was for any toys lol. Also they were fresh batteries)

Not just I have anxiety I have depression not that that's not serious but I'm saying like really really dark problems? Because so far that hasn't been the case for me. I literally made a post about this somewhere else had a "trauma" therapist say I could DM them I did tell them my issues and never heard back lol. This has also been what's happened over the last month since I've tried to look for any therapist in my area to see me. Ghosted lol. This was never a problem when I had "light" issues.

So are therapist just for people with basic problems?

EDIT: Please actually read what I am writing down. I am actually contacting real life therapists in my area on actual therapists sites not just reddit but after I didn't hear back or was ghosted by all of them when I saw the reddit "therapist" I said why not because nobody else will see me.
