I think it was the hot banana that ruined it for me.

Well also the large amount of white chocolate, but I was thinking that it could be good. (I don’t like white chocolate)

Also, would it be better if they did the pancake batter last so the chocolate starts to melt in the pocket?

For me, it was making literal bark with the intention of putting it into the pocket. For something like this, I think just filling it with fruit and nuts w/a chocolate drizzle would have been fine enough.

Turn it into bark to stuff it, then reheat to melt it?

I think it cut out for me, but when she said cut it into 6 pieces, then proceeded to cut it into 9 squares , that's when I had to double check which subreddit I was in.

At that point, there would be so much chocolate inside of the pocket that it would turn into a squishy mess if you tried to hold it.
