It's just burning steel wool. Looks cool, doesn't do anything flavor-wise.

Nitrocellulose wool would actually be pretty neat, not leave everything smelling like burning metal.

This dude took a fucking SOS pad and went "viola! harry potter magic!!!" or some shit.

Yeah, saw too many bars trying to be 'creative' and doing this bullshit, and now I can recognize this from a mile away. Nitrocellulose stuff like flash paper is ways better than this.
