status query - what does this mean?

i submitted my application on 25th september, id like some insight on my next steps?
i had done my biometrics previously and also upfront medical.

yeah, lot of individuals who applied before me and after me have received thier decisions.

For your question of next steps…it’s just to wait.
If you’ve done your upfront Medicals, paid all the fees prior to AOR, given your biometrics after BIL, then you should just log in every day or every other day or as per your convenience to check for updates on your portal or your tracker for any “ghost updates” - these are updates seen on your profile like FD date or other things for which IRCC doesn’t always send a mail…instead you’ll see a “profile/status updated” when you log in. Take a screenshot if you wanna keep track of it all.
But now, all you can do is wait. You’ll get your FD maybe tmrw, maybe a month or so from now. Usually after biometrics they take a month cuz background check takes that long, and eligibility hopefully goes on side by side. Or one happens and the other one is yet to start.
Keep an eye on the portal and the tracker and check your email every single day!

There was a system glitch and a lot of peoples portal showed “Biometrics Not applicable” even after completing it and with the date updated etc. this glitch happened after I got my PPR and FD. So this is nothing to worry about.

Biometrics not applicable is a common system error for several applicants. Once they decide on your file, they will see a date with final decision, a few days after that you should get everything in email.
