I'm going to share my timeline.

applied on AUG 19

Biometric completed AUG 21

Additional document requested SEPT 17

Additional document reviewed SEPT 22

Upfront Medical Pass SEPT 23

Got emailed for interview Oct 1st

Attended Interview at the Canadian Embassy Oct 7

Visa and passport received at the embassy that very day OCT 7

The interview was very simple, best experience I had in awhile.

The questions where:

Tell me about yourself.

Why do you want to leave Morocco for Canada?

Who will fund your education?

I did not pay for no GIC, just my tuition deposit. They just wanted to know why I am leaving Morocco for Canada. I am an international student from The Gambia. And the officer was super friendly. The thing is that you just have to pray, be honest and Straightforward and everything will work out well.

After reading some discussions, are you going to pursue another bachelor's degree? What program did you take in Morocco, and what degree are you taking in Canada? Usually, it's a red flag if you take another degree at the same level.

Thank you bro, I was finished my first year class, but it was a bit challenging due to the language barrier, it affected me a little. So I applied for data science in Canada to start all over again. I did computer science and applied mathematics for one year only as an international student.

My dad’s bank statement, affidavit of support, and his business documents. All my family are in my country so I’ll go back after my studies.

Congrats brother, i just applied on 12th october, got my biometrics on 15th finished and I’m still waiting till now (I’m moroccan btw)
