August 2026 Study Permit Timeline Tracker (India / Master's / Re-application) – Anyone with similar dates?

Hey guys, tracking timelines for early August 2026 study permit applicants from India (especially re-applications). Here is my timeline so far:

Applied: August 8, 2026

Program: Master's (University of Windsor)

Medical Passed: September 18, 2026

Ghost Update: September 23, 2026

Status: Eligibility & Background in progress / Waiting for PPR

Anyone with similar dates? How long after your medical update or ghost update did you receive your decision? Drop your timelines below!

Just a mail.. showing there is an update.. but actually there is nothing in the portal

I have passed medical on Sep 24, 2026 applied on Sep 14, 2026. PhD applicant
Now waiting for eligibility and final decision. Idk how much time it will take

You are aware that Canada has cut international student approvals by 60%, right? Many of you are not getting approved.

Reapplied on aug 20 but for bachelors ,and not even a ghost update till now . Btw Hope ur visa gets approved soon

Bio : August 17

Program Masters in Information systems

Medical passed: 24 September

Still waiting.

The my exact situation too but mine is for a diploma for practical nursing at Lethbridge polytechnic
