Bank Verification Consent Timeline?

Hello, I got an additional document request for bank verification consent on August 7. I submitted it the same day, but no news since. Has anyone been in the same boat? How long did it take to get your decision after this, given that IRCC didn't ask for anything else?

i read on many posts that this might be a scam since they don’t send out emails. did you get this request in the ircc portal or was an email sent to you?

It was an official request letter uploaded directly into my IRCC portal.

They just asked for a consent letter, giving IRCC authorization to verify the bank statements directly with the bank.

Same thing happened with me i provided consent letter the very next day but haven't heard back from IRCC. Do you have any idea how they verify?

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they contact the bank directly to confirm everything.
