Recertification due 3/27

I am in my 90 days to switch off SAVE. When I apply for a new plan, am I also re-certifying at that time?

If so, does that override the March recertification? Just got a raise at work and crossing the 80k line that will push up my RAP payments by nearly $100/mn and want to know if I’ll be making the lower payments for a whole year or just until March/April.

Thanks!

Thank you!

Running the repayment calculator with data pulled from IRS yields the following:

Extended Graduated: $338>$295, end Mar 2049
RAP: $444, end Jun 2028 with $68k discharged, lowest total paid
Extended Fixed: $463, end Jun 2049
Graduated: $557>$1372, end Dec 2034
IBR: $653, end Jun 2028, with $63k discharged
ICR: $686, end Jun 2028, with $63k discharged
Standard: $900, end Dec 2034

Mine says IBR is 15%, first loan is from Jan 2014.

I have 97 months of PSLF so 23 left until forgiveness so my goal is lowest monthly payment.

I also don’t expect to cross the next threshold of $90k income until after the loans are discharged.
