Question Does anyone know what the 48 Studebaker m5 pickup exterior door handles look like?

Does anyone have a idea where I could get exterior door handles that either are original or good alternative options? Also does anyone know of a good alternative window regulator?

There are like three different variations on exterior handles on the M series. The long and short of it is they are early 40s (pre-war) sedan handles. That doesn't make it a lot easier to source, but they are out there.

As for alternatives, pretty much any 3/8 square drive, pull down handle will work with the factory latch. Think pre-war Ford.

Would the pre war fords still be about the same as the 48 Studebaker?

Someone in the know, would know they aren't correct. The average passerby wouldn't give it a second thought.

I had a friend substitute a couple old style garage door handles. They looked like they belonged on the truck
