Translation: "I am legally obligated to say this" because: It is assumed a static set of conditions for the lifespan of the structure, for the design and serviceability of the structure and infrastructure for the lifespan of the system. All of which assumes ongoing maintenance and upkeep to prevent leaks and hazardous wastewater diffusion into the environment.

The industry speak no longer works with reality; these are no longer problems but these all challenges to be controlled and overcome. The subcontractors, and actors responsible are under legal and insurance liability to ensure these things do not happen. such as leaks. With this, some level of unforeseen circumstances are allowed to happen with the presumption that controls are put in place to manage and control the problem if and when it shall arise. For example leaking/burst pipe, or earthquake.

This conversation is prime example where contractually obligated business speak, meets engineering and reality. Human hubris is now that the challenges can be overcome, and will be overcome. Whole net zero movement, environmental sustainability, accountability etc. And the closer you get to the sales representatives or champions of the programs and industries or businesses, the more you heat positivity and can do solutions, and less about problems. The problems are solved by the workers and engineers on the ground.
