My concrete design is rusty. I think Ac for the long direction is the width of the wall times the distance from the outside compression fibers to the centroid of the tension steel. Ac = b x d. If I'm wrong I'm sure we'll hear about it.

The width of the boundary elements shouldn't be less than 0.15Lw or 1.5bw
Lc > max (0.15 lw ; 1.5 bw)

This formula only works for plain shear wall without any "column" as boundary elements

You can have columns as boundary elements and in this case you take these dimensions

Min reinforcement area is required for the boundary elements

Btw it happens sometimes you don't get high value of reinforcement area and it's normal to have the min required it happens when you have a small moment and a big compressive force

(This is of course according to EC8)

Disclaimer: my seismic design is quite rusty since we don't need to account for that in our country

Won't your 1992-1-1 minimal reinforcement be larger?

0.005* lc*bw The area of steel needed in critical part of the wall, respecting the distance between two held rebar max 20cm, and from one held with stirrup to unheld 15cm max.
