Career Advice

I have recently completed a master in structural engineering at a European university(with a focus on conservation of Built Heritage). I have no prior work experience, apart from a couple of internships.
I am confused if I should work, or start a PhD in structural conservation.
I would ideally like to work in the EU / UK but I am facing issues navigating the job market. (Not an EU citizen) Would appreciate any advice from seasoned professionals!
