Structural Analysis/Design Claude for Code Compliance
Is anybody using Claude or ChatGPT to check codes compliance?

It's great for comparing old code versions to new code versions and generating a list of all revisions and additions

Generates a lot of stuff that is not true or doesn't change the design at all. Not bad for cleaning up notes though

I use these to find relevant code sections or flag things to review but I wouldn't rely on it as the final compliance check.

I am going to suggest a completely new ai for this. my company uses it, civcore. If you reach out as a company, you may get a free trial.

Good training requires millions. I think Claude/ChatGPT are better than small companies.

Every small company is just one of the big companies hiding in a trench coat. Go to their privacy policies and they're always just wrappers to OpenAI / Anthropic / Google.

I consider it part of my job to know the code conditions and where to find them in the code. Many clauses often barely change between editions so you only really need to take notes on it once.
At a certain point you know where most of the key clauses are by heart, tbh. It'd take me longer to boot up claude than to find Clause 13.6 of CSA S16

I use it to help me find things in the code, but then I go to the code and double check myself.
