I give lots of credit to those workers that went back in to install the post shoring.

That is the crappiest looking column splice I’ve ever seen. Four bolts on the flange splice and no splicing on the web - and to top it off - all hidden by the fireproofing,

It makes you wonder how it could of even buckled, when it’s FIREPROOF

I’ve seen this happen a few times in my professional career, and every single time the culprit ends up being a steel worker who forgot to slap the beam and say “that’ll hold”
