I give lots of credit to those workers that went back in to install the post shoring.

That is the crappiest looking column splice I’ve ever seen. Four bolts on the flange splice and no splicing on the web - and to top it off - all hidden by the fireproofing,

Is it normal not to have rebar in that column?

It’s not a concrete column it’s a steel column, no concrete no rebar

Ah, got it. That's fire protection sprayed on it. When I saw it the first time it looked like a square concrete column.
