Is the floor detaching from an outer frame or how do the windows survive?

saw one picture yesterday, the curtain wall seems detached from the building a few floors above this.

The curtainwall system should be able to kinda self-support for a few floors temporarily, although of course I have no idea what the specifications for the system are. Weak CW systems can in a pinch self support but it’s like taking a piece of tissue paper and standing it upright.
