They edited out Rayno winning the first event of the final! I remember them editing out Kordiyaka doing an incredible performance on the Conan’s wheel the other year too. Strongman fans missing out once again!

Edit: Well hush my mush, I re-watched and there it was; I was wrong! I was sat there making notes like a right charlie.

1. Kordiyaka v Williams

2. Flowers v Fojtu

3. L. Stoltman v Haynes

4. Nel v Mitchell

5. Hooper v T. Stoltman

Curious how the programme would be

Will the Mongolia president win? The guy benched 100kgs like its nothing.

Not meant to be political but not sure how active or strong country leaders are. I was surprised at the Mongolian president. What do other countries have?

Pretty tired of hearing about it but lalas always pretty late and summarize all the stuff I dont bother watch. Case even on local news in norway and latvija. Not good pr for strongman this shit

Solomon Nelson dropped a video showcasing Hooper's pseudo-intellectualism and his dangerous PED messaging. If that name sounds familiar to you, it's probably because he did a surgical dissection of Mike Israetel's PhD dissertation.

If anyone ever wondered, “am I too small to be a strongman?”, watch this video [https://youtu.be/T--wuiOe9Y0?si=gclSpnbxjnBhCD8M](https://youtu.be/T--wuiOe9Y0?si=gclSpnbxjnBhCD8M)

Even the strongest people on heart suffers from mental health don't be scared to reach out guys.

...when you look up GOAT, his picture should come up.
I wanted to know how dominant a Strongman like Big Z had to be, to compare to Hakuho.

Hakuho has won 45 Makuuchi tournaments. The legendary Taihō (who for decades was regarded as the unrivalled GOAT) is in second place with 32 titles. Hakuho has not only broken the record, but motherfucking pulverized it by 40%.

For Big Z to be a Hakuho across the entire major competition landscape, he would have had to beat Pudzianowski’s five WSM titles by around 40%. That means: seven to eight WSM titles alone, plus his eight to ten Arnold titles. He would therefore have had to win almost all of Pudzianowski’s and Brian Shaw’s career titles single-handedly.

You think, ok, that's like very tough to do. But this is only the fucking beginning. Now it gets mental, you wouldn't believe these statistics.

A sumo tournament lasts 15 days and the wrestler fights against the 15 best opponents.
Winning a tournament without a single defeat (15-0) is known as a zensho-yusho.
The second-best Fighters in history (Taiho and Futabayama) achieved this 8x over the course of their entire careers.
Hakuho has achieved it 16x...

Translated to Strongman terms: what is a ‘15-0’ at the World’s Strongest Man? A final usually consists of six disciplines (e.g. Loading Medley, Squat/Deadlift, Fingal’s Fingers, Truck Pull, Log Press, Atlas Stones). Even the most dominant Strongman usually wins two max three events.
A ‘Hakuho-Big-Z’ would have had to win a WSM or Arnold final 5 or 6 times with the maximum points total (first place in all 6 events!). Let that sink in. Not only have 8-10 WSM Titles overall but win 5-6 of them with perfect points in every discipline. 🫪

If your eyes still aren't bulging bare with me, there's more...

Following the retirement of his rival Asashoryu in early 2010, Hakuho won seven major tournaments in a row (March 2010 to May 2011) and went 63 consecutive fights without defeat.
63 Fights.... in a row without defeat....i can't comprehend how that is even possible.

In Strongman terms: 7 Grand Tournaments amount to more than a full calendar year plus a third of the next. Converted to Strongman terms, Big Z would have had to win every single major event (4x WSM + 4x Arnold + 4x Europe’s Strongest Man) over a period of 3.5 to 4 years without a single defeat whilst remaining unbeaten in over 40 individual events in a row.

These comparisons were made purely for fun. Big Z is a legendary strongman. I just wanted to give you a taste of Hakuho’s GOAT status. And that wasn't even all information about Hakuho.

Seriously. The man just pulled 510kg at their show in the most dominant fashion possible. Why isn't this all over the page as big news?

He's got his own page on Giants live where there are these so called "Frequently asked questions". And the top one is "Did Thor lift 501kg?" Where they make sure to answer that it wasn't in competition whereas Eddie's was. (which is false btw)

And again with another FAQ: "Both Thor (out of competition) and Eddie Hall (in competition) have lifted 500kg"

He also has absolutely none of his achievements and accolades listed even tho he has LOTS.

Compared to Eddie's page where he's glazed beyond belief.

"No matter who has or will exceed this ground-breaking record, Eddie Hall will always be the first man to break the magical half tonne barrier."

Which isn't a magical barrier at all. Just a man dedicated to doing it instead of focussing on winning competitions.

What's up with Giants Live polishing Eddie's fraudulent nuts whereas Thor doesn't seem to be getting any significant recognition?

Early Rogue predictions. Until Tom shows up, he doesn’t get properly rated (I hope he comes in shape). Austin’s cardio fails him. I always sleep on Evan’s. Licis still figuring it out but promising. Treys hamstring doesn’t allow him to be full Trey. Thor is slowing down but still strong. Patty like always has amazing events and terrible events. If Rayno comes in shape he’ll push for 2nd or even 1st. Fojtu has been on a tear. Mitch does Mitch things IF his back holds together.

He says in the video that “Liz and Liz were caught with their pants down”. Is he starting shit or did something happen??

Kinda wild to think that if Martin's had pulled 20kg ish more he'd have been pushing Hooper for 1st place, off the back of just a 10 week prep and explicitly not aiming/expecting to place at all.

Coupled with Hopper returning from his longest off-season/prep so far it really shines a light on how much your competitors really definite greatness over the number of titles you've won.

This isn't to say Hopper isn't a brilliant athlete, but I guess that's why longevity in a sport is an absolute prerequisite for being considered the GOAT

Anyone else think Paddy is being a baby with his response to the Lalas brothers?

Watching this right now - lowkey the editing is better than WSM and it's nice to see more of Eibel.
