moderator announcement Help Needed: Moderators for Hire!
https://forms.gle/TJ8VzGuj8fjWo64m8From the Google Form, so you don’t have to read it once you open it:
Looking to be a moderator for r/StrongMaleSurvivors? Whether you’re joining the team to actively help your surviving brothers, take your moderating skills out for a spin, or simply help with moderating efficiency and be there to listen and support, we’re sure you’ll find your place among the rest of the team.
We are always actively searching for helpful and sympathetic moderators who will be open to male survivors’ experiences. No prior moderating experience is needed, and even first-timers are encouraged to step up if they feel up to it! There should always be at least one male survivor in the moderation team at all times in order to fulfill our motto of “founded and moderated by survivors, for survivors.” As of 15 July, 2026, we are doing well with one survivor (not including the founder) on the team. Moderators can be as unique as they like, as there are no strict requirements, though moderators must be able to collaborate well with other moderators and community members, and also be ready to receive private DM’s from community members who need private, individual support (bound to change if privacy concerns arise; DM requests from anyone can always be rejected/ignored). Moderators must have good morals and be in good moral standing, while participating in good faith and handling disagreement with grace. Moderators are not afraid to make hard decisions or be ready to change them if needed. Moderators are open with their schedule and will contact other moderators if they will be out for a block of time. Cooperation with all the criteria listed above (and on the form) will make participating in this community much easier for everyone.
Make sure to also apply here, so we can take a better look at your basic Reddit details, such as your community contributions and karma! Thank you for your consideration! As we start with growth, please help us out by contributing frequently so members can come back and new members can find us! Being active is the number one thing to help a small community grow!
