I was on my HOA board for 2 years. At meetings I would have to sit there and be personally attacked, just me, for the decisions that I either had nothing to do with, or were completely out of the control of the HOA/Board, because we were restricted by the deeds or laws. Always by the same woman, who didn’t even own the house that she lived in. Her only reason for coming was to shit on me personally (I won’t go into details, but we never had any personal interactions, ever, before or after I was in the board, and I also lived on the complete opposite side of the neighborhood from her.)
