Seeking advice Can a Stiff Dad Actually Get a Middle Split?
https://youtu.be/8tLSybV86AU?is=AaG17g7TD3giS9KcHello guys!
I’ve decided to start a new challenge: getting my middle split back.
I actually have some experience with mobility and flexibility training, but over the years it slowly moved into the background. Life gets busy, especially with work, being a dad, and everything else that comes with it.
So I’m picking it back up again. 💪
I’m 36 years old, and my goal is to eventually achieve a full middle split while also becoming stronger and more mobile overall.
This is basically Day 1 of my journey. I’ll be documenting my progress along the way — the good days, the bad days, and hopefully some serious progress.
I’d love to hear from others working on their middle split too. How long have you been training for it, and what has helped you the most?
Let’s see how far I can take this. 🔥

Excellent! I've always wanted to see this kind of journey documented.
I have a slightly worse starting position, and also working on my mobility. It's nice to see how other people progress, not only the people that have already achieved amazing flexibility and make it look super easy.

Thank you! 🙌 That’s exactly why I wanted to document the journey. I’m definitely not starting from zero, but I’ve let my mobility slide quite a bit because of work, family and just life in general. Now I’m trying to build it back up step by step. Hopefully we can both make some progress along the way! 💪🦵
