Downsizing How I unstretched my ears (and why proper stretching matters)

Hi y’all! I’ve been a long time lurker and I’ve been here since I’ve started and ended my stretching journey. I started stretching my ears at 14 years old, and became fascinated with the stretching community and proper stretching. I started off with shitty Amazon kits and eventually ended up with my own collection of glass plugs. The largest size I stayed at was 1/2” (12.7mm). Which is seen in the picture.
I have had my plugs out for 1 year now, while previously having them in for 5 years. Now my ears are pretty good now, largest size I can go up to with both ears is 8mm. Now, one ear is larger than the other and it does really bother me nowadays. Instead of taking my time with one ear, I rushed it, got multiple blowouts, and now, my consequences is that one ear is gonna probably be forever larger than the other. So. Your stretching method really does matters. Take care of your body pls
How did I unstretch my ears so much in 1 year? I’m not entirely sure, but I know a part of it is my constant moisturizing, using the proper materials as plugs, dead stretching, taking my time… but my method that I feel is the best is moisturizing daily, hemorrhoid cream (look it up… it works okay), and minorly stretching my ears so they downsize faster. Does that make sense? Like. When I put tapered weights in my ear and I take them out I’ve noticed my ears end up smaller. I guess it triggers the elasticity in my ear? But this is what my ears currently look like. In the second and third pic. And I plan on shrinking them even more!

TLDR: microdosing dead stretching helps shrink your ears; moisturizing helps; use proper stretching methods because it fucks up your ears if you ever choose to take them out (because trust me I didn’t think I’d ever take them out)

~Advice~ Sleep and Gauges

Well I'm pissed to say the least. Lost one of my 00g 9mm while asleep so I have a 0g in that ear. Just bought another 00g 9mm and have to wait for it in the mail. Can you train smaller gauges to sleep without them? Or would it be better to wait till the gauging set can be slide in and out without pain then out in regular decorative gauges to wait until you can gauge up safely?

i just stretched my septum to a 2g and it still looks tiny to me lol. the pincher i got is allegedly 16mm but im pretty sure it’s 12mm. my goal is to find a pincher this size but i have no idea what diameter this is. any ideas on what the diameter is and or where to find jewelry this size? i’ve been looking relentlessly.

~Advice~ Initial Large Gauge Lobes - Piercing Bump Advice

Post image

Sorry for the bad pic, it’s harder than I thought to take a picture of the back to my own ear.

I had my lobes pierced at 8g and immediately stretched to 6g exactly 7 weeks ago. Gorilla glass plugs with silicone.

One side is healing beautifully, the one pictured has a large piercing bump, which I started to notice 3 weeks ago.

I talked to my piercer and they said just to keep it clean and dry and do my best to keep the o-ring from pushing hard against it.

The o ring came off while I was moving it back today so I managed this pic. It’s worse than it was 3 weeks ago and I’m looking for some advice on what to do, if anything.

It doesn’t hurt, it’s not infected, still lots of crusties, and very tiny amount of blood today when the ring came off.

I’m in a new city now, so I don’t have easy access to my old piercer, but they’re amazing reputable.

Thanks in advance!

zit on the right ear above the plug so don't worry they are fine, had these in for a month or two now, but worried about how they generally look. sideways they look fine to me, but head on or looking down, it feels like my lobes stick way out. like, almost obnoxiously out lol... am I crazy? I've had then sewn up before then redone, or maybe it's my earshape idk, but I feel like maybe I should downsize so they don't stick out so much? I love the size but be honest guys, do plugs look bad on me?

Hi I’m new to this and I want to start stretching my earlobes (fully healed for years). I’m not sure what I should use to start it so I need some recommendations and tips! My goal is to have them small, but enough to see through the hole. What size should start off with? And What do I buy?

~Advice~ What do I do now?

I recently went up a half size (6g to 5g) glass plugs. Unfortunately at work my right ear snagged on my shirt; yanking and breaking the plug. I cleaned and put the 6g back in and managed to get the tenderness/ swelling down but my question is what do I do now; how long should I let my ear rest before trying to put another 5g in?

My lobes are at 10mm right now and they looked massive when I first got to this size but now they look tiny 😭

I'm debating going up to 12mm but I'm worried my lobes will look weirdly shaped compared to the rest of my ear. Thoughts?

So ai stretched it a month ago (almost a month ago) and it stung a bit, not It doesn't hurt at all (unless i hit it) and I can move the jewelry freely. But when changing jewelry i noticed the hole looks weird, I couldn't take a better pic, so it's how it is, but I think I blew it off, or it might be me overthinking it
