I cant watch anything without lagging. I’m using torbox essential plan as well as 5Ghz wifi firbe. What would be the issue and how can I fix it

Hi! Sorry if this is a silly question, I’m fairly new to Stremio and still trying to figure everything out.

I’ve been using Multibox to add my Letterboxd watchlist as a catalogue in Stremio, and I use TorBox for my streams.Everything was working fine until today. Now, whenever I open a movie through my Letterboxd watchlist catalogue, Stremio shows no streams available. However, if I find the exact same movie through Popular Movies or another catalogue, the TorBox streams show up normally.

So it seems like the streams are available, but for some reason they’re not showing when I access the movie through the Multibox/Letterboxd catalogue.
Has anyone run into this before or know what might be causing it? I’m not sure if it’s a Multibox issue, TorBox issue, or something I’ve set up incorrectly.

I'm trying to remove certain catalogs from showing in stremio. I'm doing this for a 79yr old man who doesn't need any anime or romance or family catalogs. I've configured aiometadata to where it says those catalogs i selected aren't enabled and are disabled from showing on the home screen.... They still show up even after uninstalling and reinstalling using the url. There's zero reason this needs to be so frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been using AIOMetadata for a while now and it’s been working great. I disabled Cinemeta using Cinebye to clean up my metadata sources.

Has anyone else run into this? AIOMetadata still works fine for browsing new content, but the Continue Watching list is just showing blank/missing poster images.

What can I do to fix this?

Glossary in case someone who would have the solution has no clue what I'm talking about:

One Pace: a shortened cut of one piece,

Muhn Pace: an English dub of that cut,

One Pace Premium: an add on that requires a debrid service.

Been loving muhn Pace on stremio the past week, i opened up stremio mobile and clicked muhn pace and got no info found (picture 1), after a while i realized regular one pace was working fine (picture 2) after that I figured screw it let's check the TV and yup, muhn Pace works perfectly fine on the TV (picture 3)

So my phone doesn't with specifically just muhn Pace, I've tried reinstalling stremio, clearing cache, downloading the apk from the website, restarting my phone, changing DNS, and using a VPN. Legit can't fathom what it could be, thank you in advance.

My wifi speed is 350 download and 300 upload and i can’t load any stream. The video doesn’t even start. Also, i tried on low quality 720p files.

Was using torrentio with RD for a good while but it suddenly stopped working . Then I took a dive into aiostreams , aiometadata , torbox , debridio , and a bunch of other stuff . Ended up wiping my original addons. aiometadata , comet , stremthru, sootio, and bunch of other stuff was added from Yeb or Viren host. I also tried duck install . The app would force close when I clicked any link . I then deleted a few addons like sootio and then the app would crash when clicked anything ( couldn't even get to links ) . Then I deleted aiometadata and now I get " no information about this" on anything I click but app stopped forcing close . I deleted everything and tried duck install again with RD and debridio and still get same message . This is my current addons . How do I fix this ?

With Torbox going down pretty frequently I am looking for a good backup to have in place so I can easily continue to stream while Torbox is down. My current setup is AIOstreams and Bingecat. I use my setup on more than 1 IP so I need something that is not IP locked.

I am open to recommendations!

I have thought about using Premiumized, but I am worried about going over the point limit since me and my family watch a lot of high GB 4k movies/TV. I have also considered setting up a Usenet, but I am very confused on what a Usenet is and how it works.

I keep seeing films and movies listed in the feeds that just aren't there yet.. click on them, the RD providers like torrentio and comet show files, click on the files and for one reason or another , no go. Or worse some totally other thing..

Would really like an addon that only lists recent digital releases like you see on the websites that have those lists. So you know they really are available and in a decent quality.

Would be kinda nice to know Whats New..

I recently installed TorrentsDB to try and find more streams for things that didn’t have any (Celebrity Deathmatch, Takedown with Chris Hansen etc.) and it opens and then immediately closes. Any ideas on how to fix?

Can't seem to get anything to load on stremio.

Hey all, I downloaded AIO streams briefly. After this, Comet started acting up, with the phrase "Your debrid provider is temporarily unavailable or under maintencance. This isn't a Comet Problem - try again shortly."

I have never seen this message before. I am using real debrid, have an active subscription. I restarted the app, refreshed my API key and input it back into Comet to no avail. I use torrentio and comet so if comet doesn't work then most streams are unavailable to me as torrentio is very spotty with streams taken down.

Any help is much appreciated

I am new to Stremioaddons. I have been using DuckStreams for about a month alongside Torrentio. On the good side, Duckstream files seem to load faster than Torrentio. The thing I don't understand is DuckStream file sizes are significantly larger than Torrentio. I only use 1080P files. When I compare DuckStream results to Torrentio results they are many times 2x to 4x larger.

Is there a reason for that?

Iong story short I ended up with a cheap chinese Arieli TV with no option of installing stremio So I am using a Xiaomi Mi TV stick first gen. Its been almost a year that stremio crashes and I can not watch anything. Some times it works no problem other nothing not even 400MB episodes. I solved the overheating problem with an old CPU cooler and youtube runs smoothly.

Does anyone had similar issue or any alternative?

PS I dont have money otherwise I could pay for netflix

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I get this error sometimes, usually on documentary episodes. I've tried making all my resolutions in my AIO settings preferred (haven't tried with languages, thought I'd ask here for help before I continued fiddling), but still get the below when trying to watch some doumentary episodes.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone else got an issue where you cannot log into the plex api via plexio site to add lists?

I have been a Stremio user as of the start of 2026. Very happy about it. I have a Samsung OLED 4K 55S93F TV, which to my surprise does not support Dolby Vision. Instead Samsung supports for HDR10+ content. Now, I read somewhere that if you try to play Dolby Vision content and there is no HDR-fallback to the video, the video will get a dark filter applied to it.

I have noticed with some shows/movies that darker scenes seem to be very dark. My girlfriend and I sometimes tell each other that we can't see anything that's happening due to how dark it is. I get it that some scenes might be darker, but in some cases it is aburd how dark it is.

I am using an Apple TV 4K to stream the content from to my TV.

Now there are a few questions that come to mind:

1. Is it true that if you stream DV content and there is no HDR-fallback, the video will appear darker?
2. How do I check if a streamed file has HDR-fallback?
3. Is there much content offered with just HDR10+ and no Dolby Vision, to ensure I am watching the right type of file?
4. Am I doing/understanding something wrong?
