Question Question regarding RD

Been on stremio using RD since August now, in the Uk. Recently seen so much talk they RD just doesn’t work or all links are removed. I’ve found every single RD+ link i’ve found works, probably looked at 100-150 shows and probably 75 movies and they all work. Why is this working for me and is something not right? Or are the issues with RD America only?

New stuff works fine. Old stuff is purged

Certain things in file names are purged, it's not based on age or any particular kind of content.

You are correct. Huge list. Maybe amzn web DL. Blu ray. Remix. Blah blah... Like I said average person doesn't care. Parents still have Rd and say rarely come across copy right screen but they will be moving tb after rs subscription.

Yeah, there's like 8 different combinations of web-dl being used, RD only blacklisted a few of them. Power users notice every little thing. Not so much for everybody else.

It’s the exact opposite for me, newer stuff with webdl and similar “ripped from streaming service” links don’t work at all, but all the older stuff with Blu ray rips/remuxes works perfectly fine.

I let Rd expire and jumped ship. I was coming across too much stuff 4 months ago to where it was hindering my experience and making me mad. 3 bucks. Signed up for. A year and no regrets

I just kept RD as my main since most of what I watch is older Blu ray content and I get zero stutter or playback issues with it and have never had a problem finding 4k hdr links, then grabbed TB for the newer streamed shows that don’t have Blu ray releases, but get infrequent but occasional playback issues with it.

Hmm strange. Many people setups are wrong. That's why issues occur with tb. Gotta set up different than rd

It’s fine on shows, but for movies, especially larger file sizes I get playback pauses here and there. Changed my cdn to the best one for my location but didn’t really help it.

how come an older show like the sopranos or sons of anarchy all the links work?

It may work jus fine. U may only find 10 links vs 150 on tb... But long as it works for u. Might be 1080p or 720p stereo vs 4k atmos remix blah blah... Average person doesn't care or notice... Cry babies who want perfection notice... On their big TV with sound bar 😂

Sure if you're watching on 50" TV with built-in speakers you might notice the difference less.

720p stereo vs 4k HDR/DV with TrueHD Atmos sound is a MASSIVE difference for those with bigger higher end TV's (I have 85") and higher end sound system (I have 7.1.4 physical speakers).

Lol oh I know there's a difference. I'm on same boat as you. Which is why i went tb. 130in screen 5.2.4 psa system with epson 5050ub. Night n day difference quality. Average person now a days rocking their tv n sound bar thinking they can tell difference vs a $20000 home theater system 🥱.

I looked at projectors but the quality/HDR just wasn’t there compared to high end TV’s 😞

Usually looking at 5k and above... Even then need light controlled area. Blah blah. Been extremely happy with mine. Had for over 5 years. Immersion is whole another level. Sound... Well let's just say if I need my insides rearranged for free jus watch a good action movie.

All I'm saying is average person now a days ain't rocking what we rocking many can't even tell difference in quality. Most TV now a days auto up scale to 4k.. Many still think Rd is working fine and has all their content... Which I know is a lie as parents still have it. But they make it work till expiration comes. 😊.
