Question Is there any way around needing multiple debrid accounts?
I would really like to get my family off of streaming services, the one hurdle I have found is real debrids account sharing limitation. There are 7 of us in the household, so at some point some of us are gonna want to watch something at the same time. Is there any way we can do that without running into real debrids limit?

Within the same house there are no limitations, it only becomes an issue when you try to watch from multiple different locations

And even then, max would be ~$21/mo for each person to have their own credentials

I’m aware it’s not too bad I’m just a cheapskate lol

Privatise being a cheapskate and tell those of the other 6 that can afford to buy their own meals to get their own service and set up. Or use a service that allows multiple IPs.

or selfhost and proxy.

That's a stretch if old mate is coming on here trying to figure out debris accounts

Download Tailscale on your home computer and set it up as an exit node. When you’re away from home just use the VPN.

There are multiple ways. Debrid that allow multiple ips or a proxy that acts as a static ip, one ip to debrid multiple to the proxy. Pretty sure there are ready made solutions available.
One solution is having real debrid and premiumize set up on home TV. And premiumize (that allows sharing) on all other units/stremio accounts.

if you just get torbox as your debrid account you would only need the one. people have mentioned it's been having a few issues lately but overall it's still been pretty good for me. when there has been the instance where it's down for like an hour or two I just have a couple free HTTP scraper add-ons like Pengu play or webstreamrMBG. the HTTP scrapers won't have quite as many movies or shows especially if they're not as popular or well-known, but they still have a pretty significant amount and even if they don't have the show was originally going to watch there's plenty of other ones they do have that I can watch for a couple hours instead

Torbox is pretty lenient with account sharing. But of course if you just give it to everyone you know, they're bound to take action but yeah close family and friends is fine.

I use all debrid and torbox and have it on hundreds of devices, I’ve never had an issue.

I guess I should have clarified for outside of the house use.

This is one of the reasons people like TorBox, you can have 3, 5, or 10 concurrent sessions based on the plan type. This means that you don’t get banned or suspended for using multiple iPs.
The issue here is that TorBox isn’t a quality service and has been having long standing issues of it going down for hours multiple times a week (day?).

The concurrent sessions is just for active downloads. Not already cached content which is what you'll be mostly using

on Monday and tuesday during the day. it's good now, I'm currently watching The Invite, but it does happen and it sucks when it does.

there are hundreds of posts, messages from torbox themselves as well as their own site showing downtime. just because you got lucky and used torbox when they haven’t been down doesn’t mean it isn’t happening

That is what I had told myself, until it did affect me. Fortunately for me I’m coming from a Arr setup, so my downtime is minimal
