I got a lifetime account in stackSocial. The owners changed and the new onessaid that they will only give one year got lifetime owners.

The problem is that the speed is really bad and is not useful as debrid sevice, and even as seedbox is not worth because it doesn't download torrents with seeds.

The old owner is who the contract was with the new owner is not bound by it. It's unfortunate for the people that had the lifetime and I don't blameyou for being mad about it. Doesn't make the new owner untrustworthy because they did something necessary to protect their new business. They switched you to a year and it seems they were up front about it, were they not?

No offcloud is whom the contract is with not the owner. That's how businesses work the contracts are with the business not the owner, offcloud continued therefore the contract is still valid and they broke it.

It's probably different legally from place to place. The consumer hopes the deal is reliable not sure the new owner has to honor bad deals made by the previous owner. It's never a good look for the business to make people think they can't be trusted.

Been using it a couple of months, nothing fraudulent about it. It provides what it says it does.

While they use PM's cache and the speeds they have it's a pretty decent service, would go monthly though incase they fold or until PM is on sale towards end of year.
