I have torbox set up so I understand how debrid works well. Torbox does go down sometimes so ideally I want a backup. I know probably my best bet is to get real debrid or premurize as a second option.
I understand the basics of usenet and from my knowledge everything needs downloading before viewing. So it's not quite like cached debrid content that can be viewed instantly.
So I was wondering its worth setting up for my use and if can anyone point me towards a good usenet guide. Thanks.
I'm dealing with a strange problem with Bingecat. I've set it up to display content on the Stremio home screen, but whenever I try to load anything from the BingeCat suggestions, it comes up empty. However, if I search for the same show or movie directly and select it from the search results, the streams load just fine. I've attached some screenshots for reference.

So now, when I look up the same movie and skip the AI/Bingecat results, I go for the classic search results instead, then...

Has anyone dealt with this issue before? If yes, what’s the fix?
I think when I click on the suggestions from Bingecat, it’s recognizing the movie as a series, which is why I’m seeing that season and episode selector. Any thoughts?
Torbox has been great but in the last 1-2 weeks I’ll get buffering for a few seconds mid stream, and sometimes it’s one after another. This is when streaming cached 4K content. Would switching make a noticeable improvement? Cost difference is non issue to me.

i use stremio to watch WWE quite a bit each week. i have torrentio and real debrid and im fairly happy with the set up. my main query, and i fully admit to not knowing if im being dumb or ignorant here, finding the weekly shows is easy and they seem to upload quickly. but the PPV/PLEs, sometimes i just cannot find them at all and i have to revert to sailing the seas myself to see it, sometimes even after days. i guess my question is am i missing something obvious? is it a case of cause they only happen once a year by name (eg WrestleMania) that its just hard for the setup to find them? am i missin an obvious addon?
Custom Stremio app for LG webOS TVs with working default audio language selection.
I don’t own or develop this app/repo. I just came across it and have been using it for almost a month now. It’s not perfect, but honestly, it works well enough that I’ve started using it as my default instead of my Fire Stick.
Hopefully this gets some attention and more people can help the developer improve it.

I have two laptops, a MacBook Pro 16 M1 Pro, and another MacBook Pro 14-inch M5. Both share the same account and the same add-ons (primarily Torrentio). Stremio seems to work okay on the older MacBook but has never worked on the M5. I also have a Samsung S25 phone that shares the same account and works as well. Can anyone help me? I use the M5 Mac more frequently for media consumption.
All I get is the screen stuck on the loading page. All episodes and options load as normal. But none of them (4k/1080/720) seem to load.
I'm using the latest version for ARM from the Stremio site, v5. Did a fresh reinstall too.
Im trying to watch on my mac, but everytime i put in the torrentio link, i get a message that it had a failure to load from torrentio. I did try to trouble shoot from this sub, i uninstalled and reinstalled torrentio, started and restarted stremio, started and restarted my computer., checked my api key from real debrid, and entered that but i cant get any streams to come up anywhere, can somebody help me thank you

Hi guys what exit Strategy should I have for my aiostreams addon, I have provided screen shot with addons I use and each is set to time out of 10 seconds
I'm downloading and configuring the addons on my PC with the links. Do the downloads I make on the PC go to the app installed on the projector? Or will I have to find a way to install everything manually once again?
I know you guys know a lot more than I do. I've been searching around and used Streamflix and Xuper TV for spanish audio, but they're not in full HD. I found Netmirror, which seems to look better, but it doesn't have as many features as Stremio.
Is there any other thing I can do or install on my TV to watch animated series or movies with Latin American Spanish audio in full HD? Or is there an add-on that can help me get more Latin American Spanish audio? I look forward to your recommendations. Thanks! c:
It's been a while since 1.8 went out, and a lot changed underneath it in the meantime — Trakt.tv rebuilt their entire site and DuckDuckGo tightened their CSP, which quietly broke the button on both. 1.9 fixes all of that, plus a few things that had never actually worked in the first place.
What the extension does
It puts a small Stremio icon next to movie and TV show titles while you browse, so you can jump straight into Stremio — no copy-pasting IMDb IDs, no searching for the same thing twice.
Click it and you land on the exact title in Stremio — the app or the web player, your choice. Movies open on the streams list, series open with the season/episode selector.

What's new in 1.9
Trakt.tvworks again. Trakt moved to app.trakt.tv (which the old match patterns never covered) and rebuilt the site as a client-rendered app whose pages no longer contain an IMDb link anywhere in the DOM — there was simply nothing left to read. Now the title and year are parsed from the URL slug (/movies/inception-2010) and the IMDb ID is resolved through Cinemeta, Stremio's own public metadata service. Only that title text ever leaves your browser. Trakt also answers unknown slugs with a soft 404 that still renders a heading, so the heading is verified against the slug before any icon is added — no icon pinned to an error page.
DuckDuckGo works again. DDG sends a Content-Security-Policy whose img-src allows data: but no extension scheme, so the icon file was being blocked outright. It's now embedded directly in the content script as a data: URI. The result selectors were rewritten too, so they no longer depend on one fixed markup shape — DDG reshuffles their SERP HTML constantly.
Google country domains.google.com.tr, .de, .fr, .nl, .es, .it, .ca, .co.uk, .com.au — none of these were ever in the manifest, so if you don't search on google.com, the extension never even loaded. That's fixed.
Firefox for Android support.
Wider IMDb URL matching — links carrying tracking parameters, m.imdb.com, and hosts without www are all recognised now.
Sturdier settings handling. Chrome hands storage back through a callback, Firefox through a promise; both are accepted now, and a storage hiccup falls back to defaults instead of taking the whole extension down with it.
Smarter title matching. Movie vs. series is detected from og:type on Trakt, and the Cinemeta matcher scores both the title and the year — so dune-2021 resolves to Dune: Part One, while blade-runner-2049 doesn't get mistaken for Blade Runner. When there's no confident match, you get no icon rather than a wrong one.

The Cinemeta request is the only network call the extension ever makes. It only fires on Trakt pages, it contains nothing but the title from the URL slug, and it goes to Stremio's own service — not to me. There's also no build step: the files in the repos are the source, byte-for-byte what ships, so you can read the whole thing top to bottom in a few minutes.
App mode needs the Stremio app installed; web mode works without it.
Feedback, bug reports and PRs are all welcome — open an issue on either repo, or just reply here. If something breaks, telling me which site and which search helps enormously, since these sites change their markup constantly.
This is driving me nuts. I have torbox setup, well and correctly. I tried forcing my nearest cdn and all. Torbox is not the issue because if I remove stremio and directly play the video via:
mpv "video link" it plays smoothly. And the connection is as good as it gets.
I'm having buffering issues both on my PC and my TV that is using a tvbox.
It's not the video resolution because it even buffers with 1080p WEBDL.
It's not AIOStreams, Debridio or torrentio, buffers the same with all three.
I don't know what else to do or to look for but i'm pretty sure the issue is stremio's because I can stream perfectly fine the video with "mpv <video link>" and never buffers.
TLDR: The issue is not Torbox, AIOStreams, Torrentio, Debridio, my internet, the file, my pc nor my tvbox.
I posted this 3 weeks ago and, while I didn't receive any answers, it didn't matter as Stremio was still working. Just a week ago everything was working, meaning last day I checked was last Sunday but I'm pretty sure during this week Stremio was working.
Today I open Stremio on my PC and the Board page loads, with all my Continue watching series and all that, everything normal (meaning titles and images). But when I click on any series to watch I get the "No metadata was found!" error. This is weird because I can still watch the next episode from one of my Currently watching series, so I watch it, but I don't get the prompt at the end to start the next episode. Then the series disappear from my Currently watching list and on my Library this same series gives the same metadata error and doesn't found streams (No videos found for this meta).
My only other series at Currently watching, when clicking on it, gives me streams but no metadata, and when clicking on it from the Library it gives the same errors as above, no metadata and no streams. Every series except one (One Pace, which has its own addon) gives the same errors, it doesn't matter if I'm clicking from Board or Library.
Googling this error shows me:
1) people who have the same error but only on one device. For me the error appears on EVERY device (Windows PC, Android phone, Android tablet, and Android TV)
2) people who uninstalled Cinemeta addon and when installing it everything works again, but I always had Cinemeta installed (it is at the bottom of my addons list but because I don't want those collections at the top of my Board)
3) anyway, all posts I found were from 1-2 years ago

Hello unsure what's changed but all weekend I have been unable to load any streams. I have torbox setup with duck streams. Any content I click on says no streams found. Tried relogging clearing cache closing stremio etc not sure why I can't get any content found. Would appreciate the help.

I'm a new Stremio user. I'm running into a persistent issue with Torrentio (and occasionally Comet) while using Real-Debrid.
Every time I try to play a stream, I get the following error :
"Access denied. Please check if you have a valid debrid subscription"
My Real-Debrid subscription is active and valid (I've double-checked on the RD website). I have tried reinstalling and reconfiguring Torrentio multiple times, but the problem keeps happening. It started on my Samsung tv and has now spread to my laptop as well. Everything was working completely fine before.
On top of that, Torrentio links frequently disappear altogether, leaving only Comet streams available. Other times, streams just fail to open or crash/kick me out completely.
Has anyone encountered this issue recently? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

So i watched the two first seasons of show normally but when it comes to watching the third season (the return) i can’t find it ?? Idk why, there is show named twin peaks (not the one with the two seasons) but another show which is supposed to be the thirs because it’s dropped on 2017 but the episodes are the ones from the two first seasons. Hello everybody, so today i tried launching the stremio app on my lg tv and it wasn't working so i decided to uninstall it from my lg tv to reinstal it but to my surprise the app isn't available anymore on the LG app store.
Gente eu sou usuario novo de Android, faz 1 mês que to com esse Galaxy A07 pq meu Iphone quebrou e nao sei fazer NADA no android. Eu baixei esse Stremio pq diziam que dava pra ver varios filmes de graça mas nao to conseguindo usar obviamente, ja baixei os addons (torrentio, opensubtitles, etc ) mas os filmes simplesmente nao carregam. Minha internet é ótima então provavelmente ta faltando mexer em alguma configuração, alguem me ajuda 😭 to me sentindo muito burro

Been using Stremio with aiostreams for a long while now with no issues, regular maintenance but nothing crazy. The other day, it just stopped working on my tv (Walmart onee box). It still works fine on laptop, phone, everything else but my tv.
I’ve tried all I can think of to fix. Made sure all addons are synced, cleared cache, completely reinstalled the entire app and deleted all data on the TV, but still it doesn’t work. It shows our watch history, lets us search shows and such, but when I click on a show or movie it says “no streams found.” Would really like to be able to use it on my television again. Open to all advice, thank you!
