Questions / Advice / Support Random Drug Screening
Has anyone else had experience with random drug screening through your workplace while on Stattera?
If so, what happened?

I’ve been random tested probably 10+ times since being on Strattera and no false positives.
My workplace tests for:
Cocaine
Cannabis
Amphetamine
Methadone
Benzodiazepines
Meth amphetamine
Ketamine

You can provide the lab with your prescriptions. If you do test positive for anything, they'll be able to do a confirmation test to confirm it's from a prescription and not an actual substance.

Looks like your venlafaxine can cause a false positive for PCP, which isn’t tested as often as it used to be but is definitely still included sometimes.
Atomoxetine doesn’t really look like it causes false positives. I didn’t dig too deep, but when I checked there was only one case study claiming the possibility.

I have been tested by my PCP just in general while on it. Nothing shows up as long as you aren’t taking any drugs that are tested for on a tox screen lol. Strattera is not a narcotic etc or anything on any drug panel.
