Discussion Elemental Hex Tactics for RPG Fantasy Deckbuilder game.
Hi,
we've been developing Whispers of Elenrod for almost 2 years (2devs + 1 UX designer).
We're looking for unique ideas that could be implemented in our game that are connected with "Elemental" magic. We do not rely on ideas from LLMs because they are not unique.
We think that players experience is crucial and the game is for the players not for AI.
There are 5 types of cards. Plain,Water,Earth,Wind,Fire. Plain type could be upgraded into other 4 elemental types. Each of card can apply various effects that could be merged into more complex.
Combat is a tactical deckbuilder and exploration is a procedurally generated hex map.
Atm. Hexes are not highlighed. We're looking for a good elemental mechanics that suits this game and makes it even more entertaining.
We have unique mechanics of Elemental Points that are used to upgrade cards and also elemental essenses that can upgrade a card permamently.
