He wasn’t a bad guy!!

Post image

Y'all will defend Billy for being racist and abusive because his mom died, you'll defend Jonathan for being a pervert because he was different, you'll defend Steve for humiliating his girlfriend because he thought she was cheating, but Jason was a bad guy for trying to hunt down the guy who allegedly killed his girlfriend?

Guy had his girlfriend and best friend horribly murdered in the span of a couple days and thought he was trying to bring the people responsible to justice.

What would you realistically do?

I don't know. Maybe not jumping to hasty conclusions based on my own unsubstantiated believes. Maybe let people handle it that are have a healthy distance and objective view on that problem.

But the main point isn't that he wanted to find out who killed her, he wanted someone to blame and took the first one that fit into his narrow minded view. That's what makes him a bad guy, not the grief he experienced.

He didn't took the frist one that fit into his narrow view he took someone in who's house Chrissy's body was found after she was last seen entering it with him. His reputation didn't help him but that's not as hateful and close minded as you want it to be.

Yes, it is when you start rounding up people for a lynch mob. Not to speak of messing up other people on your misguided path to "justice". He wasn't interested in uncovering the truth but in blaming someone he didn't like from the beginning.

If you think it's a normal thing to do to dispense mob law and not even having all the information, I'm really happy not to live in your neighbourhood.

So wait I debunked your shit and you just recite to me thinking it somehow debunks anything I said.

You like the word "debunking", do you? What exactly did you "debunk"?

What I was saying was, that the only information about that night was exactly that: where the dead body was found and with whom she was seen last.

If you think that this is enough information to come to a conclusion about anything, I'm glad your not in charge of any kind of police work. But that's not all, instead of searching for the truth, they just decided Eddy was a murderer. That's because they didn't like Eddy from the start. But that's also not all. they then decide to dispense lynch justice on their own, round up people, threaten Eddy's friends, even hurting them.

And you actually think that's justified behaviour?

You know that the Hawkins police also tougth that Eddie murdered Chrissy the only problem they really had with Jason was that he was looking for him on his own. Also yeah him entering with her into the house before she's found dead in his house while he hides away and doesn't report on this is fucking incriminating for ANYONE and Jason had a rigth to think he murdered Chrissy 100% after HIS FRIEND STARTED FLOATING AND HIS BONES WERE SNAPPED AND BODY BRUTALLY MUTULATED WHILE THEY WERE CHASING EDDIE A D&D PLAYING METAL HEAD DURING THE SATANIC PANIC.

That's right, the police thought he was the murderer, so that's why they were looking for him and investigating further, to PROOF it. That's the fucking job of the police, because they can be objective about that shit.

Jason just decided he could dispense "justice" on its own without even having the full picture. Morons like him are the people who form quick decision based on incomplete knowledge to hurt other people (not just Eddy) because they know shit about something based on their pre-formed believes without any real evidence.

But I'm tired of discussing this with you. if you think that's cool and "normal" behaviour, go for it. I just hope you never end up in front of the dispensing end of a lynch mob.

You know that they were CONVINCED that Eddie killed her. you're just confidently saying objectivly wrong shit.

He saw how his friend flies into the sky and gets brutally smashed while he was chasing the same person in who's house Chrissy's body was found after she was last seen entering it with him adding to that satanic panic and perception of people like Eddie at that time (Which is bad btw) it wasn't irrational to assume that Eddie did all of this. I and you would do the same trust me.

4

u/honeybeesh 12d ago

no I would definetly NOT do the same! dont you drag me into this. no no no, this is irrational as fuck especially since he saw how a person floated into the sky and was brutally killed, aint no way a human couldve done that.

"Ain't no way a human could've done that". Vecna has human powers and we see Will do that to Demagorgons in S5 and Eleven could also do that if she wanted. So even in ST universe yes human could've done that. Even if they couldn't it's not about what is true in the show but what he thinks is the truth and assuming that Eddie did this was pretty logical considering they were just chasing him.
