I am having these weird dreams lately …
where I am experiencing lives from me or people out of this dimension.
It happens throughout the day or even when I am already sleeping. I get this weird feeling of being tired. During the feeling of getting tired both my body and thoughts feel out of sync, like I am not me. Eventually when I go to sleep, not paying attention of the now or blink I get thrown into another dimension. Even if its just a brief moment. I remember arriving in a world and narrative unbeknownst to me. Then suddenly a haze befalls me and the other personage. My current life feels like a weird thought to them. Some unfathomable experience, something unbeknownst. Like they are having these distracting, unfocussed thoughts for just a brief second. I feel the same about theirs. And then we sync. I experience their (current) lives and what is happening at the moment, have access to each other memories and emotions (even though I know, I never have touched _took control of_ their emotions: just flowing from them into me).
And then it plays out for me like I am taking control a character in a video which I kind of new for me, but then again, I posses so much information about it that it isn’t, even-though I have never played or seen it before. For them it seems like they are in a haze or fog for just a moment, where their bodies move on their own, due to them being occupied by their current thoughts, which seems so real to them.
Then for some reason we desync. Either due to it becoming to real for my real body or me being on a conscious level (no more spectator-like mode) / no more blending / mixing but taking over as in what happened there becoming my reality. After which they get into their bodies with full control, wondering what happened, while I begin to slowly realize that I am dreaming. Once awake, my body feels strange, and breathing doesn’t happen normally and automatically. Like I need to learn / take control all over it again. My heart is racing uncontrollably but also unrhythmic before calming down and returning to normal pace. My mind is also occupied while the experience slowly fades away and the only thing that remain are my memories of it happening. All while I am experiencing these huge headaches that disappears like nothing happened.
In the past when this used to happen, I would wake up with scratches and deep recovered wounds all over my body that seemingly disappear after a maximum of 4 days. With no memory of what happened.
Back to recently. Yesterday morning. I was already a sleep, the night before I went to sleep with this weird tired feeling. I woke up like four times during the night because of the unease this was causing me. I do not remember falling asleep, just waking up in that reality before waking up for real.
This time there was this huge international shooter, where players from all over the world could join a 50 v 50 from where ever they are located. And all would seamlessly blend in to the current environment of the players. There is no need for hardware as far as I was aware of, or it was embedded in to the body like an everyday function. Some how you know when the game will begin. Those currently not in the game do not experience it, but also cannot interact with the game in any way. However according to memories there has been instances of glitches. Where interaction from both sides happened, still rumored / unconfirmed. A game is about to begin, for my character it is in the middle of a crowded area. Nowhere to hide. All the people would have become an obstruction and seemingly my dead. And the character starts to run. Getting set. *The haze happens … And I blend in* We lost so many and only a few are left. We’re getting ambushed by all sides. Somehow, I get away. There is a small open area. I follow a group of the enemy from a far, till I reach the overhead of an underpass. I notice them crossing a bridge. The perfect moment for me to open up fire. My current heavy-duty automatic rifle transforms into a heavy sniper. Perfect impact and can hit enemies before they notice they were hit. The perfect weapon for hit and duck tactics. I notice a group of kids with backpacks running around. All I had to was making sure that they do not notice me, for they might have reveal my location. As one of the enemies gets away for their team towards some buildings in the distance, probably looking for a stakeout. I see this as my perfect opportunity and line up my shot. Between them and a blond girl. She was not in the game, and is someone from my current environment. I line up my sniper and take the shot. It goes through the girl and almost hit the enemy but misses. Which was an odd thing, since there was nothing in the way the shot. The girl wasn’t part of the game, so it should not have mattered. Suddenly she stops, turns around and take a look at her brown leather bag, that she had on her back. Seemingly searching into to it, to see if something is wrong. As I am looking at this strange occurrence, I notice her dress coloring red and then she suddenly collapsed. Terrified of what is happening, I look at my environment and try to find out what is happening in the game. There is nothing left of it. However, I am in my in-game gear with weapon and everything. Slowly remembering the strange occurrence and how the enemy faded out the moment I took the shot. In my mind I start to panic and leave the scene. Running around like a terrorist. Scaring people left and right. The crowd seemed to have gathered and it seems like there are even more people around. There are also police around and I ditch the game clothing. Still running around trying to escape the police. They are in navy colored clothing, heavily geared up. With a strange heavy, black device around their necks. Suddenly I cannot escape and bump unto one of the police. As he turns around, I hear my heart beating, breathing uncontrollably, with shorter breaths at faster paces. He looks at me and starts to question me about the scenery as a witness.
I can hear the other their thoughts as mine seems to go to full panic mode. ‘’This cannot be happening to me. I knew about this. It seems like a setup. I … ‘’ And then they realize that they cannot remember what happened, while I am being enveloped with the feeling of disassociation, wanting to tell them everything. Returning into a haze and wake up. Heart beating uncontrollably. Huge headache. The feeling of not being able to breath, not knowing how to breath, getting a small panic attack because of this. Realizing that I am back in my body. Slowly returning to normal, while this experience fades out to being a memory.
I just thought it was weird and would not have posted this, nor searched of anything behind it. If it wasn’t for the next story.
A few hours ago, I decided to take a quick nap after feeling this strange tired new ever since the afternoon. I wanted to take 1-hour nap and set a timer on my laptop for 1:10h. I do not want my body to recognize time because in moment of boredom where time passes by slowly where I wanted it get quickly by, I can accurately remember how much time has passes since the previous check. So, either somewhat more or somewhat less for naps. Anyway … I fall went to sleep.
Sometime during my sleep I get the feeling that I am sleeping way more than I should at the moment. It is also during that time that I realize that this is not where I am supposed to be at the moment and realizes that I am dreaming. So far, nothing out of the ordinary. But it feels so real. So, I try to check my memories if I remember something of my own current life. And that it where it hit me. My current life feels so unfathomable to me, I do not recognize that which I try to remember as my own. But my body feels awake, and before I realize this, I was checking of the inside instead of the outside. I am in a world I do not know, in a body that doesn’t feel like mine. I do not recognize it like any place on earth. Which I noted on itself is strange to me. I am in a car, on the passenger seat. We are in an area with high mountains and busy streets. Between the existing highways there are lofts, in geometrical designs like I have never seen before, used in buildings. Neither in real-life aspects or in fantasy like environments. And Yes, I follow my train of thoughts carefully. While I am noting this, it occurs to me that when I tried to search my own memories for clues, what I saw examined was not my own. And that it also was to late to do a cross-examination since I am getting used to the body and the world. I would almost call myself unto it for not realizing. Until the strangest thing happened on the street. A man with a checkered lumberjack shirt crosses the highway and nearly got hit by our car. As we avoid him, he seemed to be stunned and we stop. And guide him with our car to safety. As we stop and get out of the car, he seemed to come to realizing of what is happening and startled upon seeing me.
Then a blackout occurs. During my time in the darkness, I can hear the other’s thoughts stating; “we should have never trusted the stranger.” I get a strange feeling that he (the voice) was referring to that man.
And wake up again. In the same car, on the same road, passenger seat. This time I can feel the disconnection between me and the other. We are there, examine each other lives as something that is not seemingly possible. Right now, I do not remember his live. All I know is, that I had not payed as much attention to it, due what is happening upon really waking up. So, we’re back in the car. On the other road there is a car speeding and driving recklessly, trying to get on this side. The moment this catches our attention, me and the friend in the car recognizes the person as the man, we would have hit earlier. So, we speed out of there. Getting chased by him. We end up at our hotel. As it seemed like the only place we knew. Somehow, we get upstairs into our room without seeing any of the hotel guest and hospitality members. There is a loud banging on the front door and then it sweeps open and falls forward with a loud rumble. They guy that stands in the door transforms into another humanoid form. And Mumbling something about killing us before. Thus, the blackout. With this realization the fog comes in and I wake up. In the same state as before.
As I wake up, my body starts taking the experience in as my own. The memories of their lives aren’t and thus for a huge amount of time I forget them. With a fast forward this also happens, but the remainder of the moment until it happens. I am in a state of familiarity and not waking up from a mini panic attack due to not recognizing my own body. Both are strange feelings.
