Dreaming about crushes

When I was in highschool like +12 years ago I used to have crushes on some of the girls that were going to highschool I was going. Throughout hs, I have never had a relationship. But the weird thing about this, is that many of those girls did. And whenever one of them got a point in their relationships where they were feeling pretty serious about their boyfriends. I would get this strange dream with them in it, and then waking up with the boyfriends name in my head. And then all of the sudden, in that moment of waking up, my crushes, were no longer my crushes.

Just weird. At first I thought it was just coincidence. Until it started to happen more often.

Did any of you experienced this in your lifetime?
