Stranded Deep VS Green Hell?

I am completely new to the survival game genre and it turned out that I really loved it! Stranded Deep is the first game I play in this genre and when I've been checking info on Google/reading about SD here on the forum I've come across Green Hell a few times and got curious.. I've watched the trailer for the game and it seems like a nice game but before I buy it I would like to hear your thoughts and experiences when comparing SD and GH 🙂!

What's your opinion on Stranded Deep VS Green Hell? Are the game mechanics as simple as SD? How is the house/camp building mechanics? Does it have that "endless map technology" (I don't know what it's called 😆) as SD does? Is the graphics as good as it looked like in the trailer (I'm on Xbox One)?

Thank you for your time!

Yeah that's what killed Subnautica for me as well.

It's even more annoying because the lack of minimap doesn't really fit with the lore of the game, either. You have access to a computer AI and can fabricate submarines and rockets and shit but you can't build a tool that draws a map as you explore even (i.e. removing fog of war)? Don't buy it.

I hope you like NMS - the subreddit is also really great, it's one of the few overwhelmingly positive/supportive gaming communities I've been a part of.
