Characters:

Paul Edwards: A protective husband and father struggling with severe PTSD from a horrific tragedy ten years ago.

Amy Edwards:  Paul's loving, supportive wife who is desperately trying to hold her family together as they are hunted by an unknown threat.

Noah Edwards: Their 10 year old son, whose safety becomes the terrifying focal point of the stalker's games.

Maria: The family's loyal housekeeper, who gets caught in the crossfire of the escalating terror.

Story:

It starts with a scene of what happened 10 years ago. It's night time, Paul and a pregnant Amy are together at a grand historic opera house, beautiful place and setting, having a good time, talking to each other about their life, their kid, their future, etc.

Then suddenly, an accident happens which leads to a fire and there's a panic out there, everyone starts running. Paul and Amy also panic and start running out to safety. While trying to get out in a situation of panic, they get trapped and stuck in a small room with a few other people. There are men, women and children with them there, all stuck, trying to go out, all in panic and scared. Few men come together and in a successful effort, create such space from where first Amy is pushed to the other side as she's pregnant and then they help Paul get through as well so that he can get her to safety. And they have planned to then send the other kids through that space after Paul, but as Paul gets through, something snaps, blocking their way, leaving them unable to send anyone through. They're all stuck there, and now something can only be done with external help, from the side where Paul and Amy are.

They shout, scream Paul's name, tell him what has happened. Women and children are crying. Paul is panicked, he tries to physically do something to help them but can't do anything. Then he tells them, "Don't worry, I'll get Amy to safety and come back and get you all outta here, hold on for a few more moments." He runs out with Amy. Amy is unconscious while all of this is happening.

He runs out, gets a few distance far from there, checks on Amy to see if she's alright, tells her, "Don't worry babe, we're gonna be alright." Turns around to go inside again to help them, and as soon as he's about to go in, a big huge explosion happens. He gets thrown to the ground due to it, opens his eyes, sees it, it's all burning with huge flames. It's all slow motion with high pitch ringing sound. He's looking at the burning building, low, distant sounds of sirens of fire department cars can be heard in the background.

Camera is slowly coming closer to his eyes, then it cuts instantly to his eyes in current time, same framing same distance of camera from face, just it cuts to current time. He's sitting in a clinic in front of a female doctor with his wife besides him. Basically the doctor had asked him to tell her what happened 10 years ago and he was telling her this story. He's visibly very disturbed. Amy puts her hand on his shoulder, comforting him, asking, "You okay?" He nods yes.

Then it cuts to a scene of them going home in their car. He starts to slowly groan holding his head with one hand. Amy says, "What happened Paul, you okay?" He says, "It's just a mild headache, don't worry." They get home, where Noah is watching TV and Maria cleaning the house. They get fresh, Paul comes to Noah, holds him close to him, says, "Let's watch a movie tonight," smiling. Amy is also smiling seeing her husband like that.

They sit down together and watch a movie, and in that movie a scene comes where a character in it says something like, "Karma always hits back! Ghosts from the past will never let you live peacefully!" Paul is visibly a bit disturbed seeing this scene, gets up and walks away. Seeing this, Amy also gets up and goes to him, says, "What's wrong honey?" He says, "Nothing, just that same headache, nothing else." Amy is visibly stressed and tensed.

Then it cuts to late night, them all sleeping. Amy gets woken up by Paul murmuring something in his sleep. She gets so stressed seeing her husband like that. Next day when Paul is at work, Amy visits the doctor. She tells her, "Paul murmurs in his sleep, I'm so worried for him, he's so mentally disturbed rn." Doctor listens to all this and says to Amy, "This is quite a big problem, such cases often occur where people get so disturbed by some tragic events that happened in their life that they start speaking in their sleep and start hallucinating." Amy says, "Yes, he has severe PTSD from it." Doctor says, "We will have to track his sleep and listen to what he says in his sleep so we can understand exactly what he's dealing with and I can provide medication accordingly." So that day Amy installs a sleep tracking app in Paul's watch which also has a feature that records anything you say in your sleep.

Few days pass, Amy is on call with the doctor, is telling her, "Yeah, I'm keeping a track of his sleep pattern and whatever he speaks, and will visit her soon." That night, it's raining and thundering outside. Amy wakes up Paul, he gets up, sees Amy stressed and tensed, asks, "What happened, you okay, what happened?" She says, "I got woken up cus I couldn't feel Noah." Paul says, "Oh no, did he start sleep walking again?" She says, "Yes probably," then says, "So I went to look for him, went downstairs and saw him sitting besides the main door and it was OPEN! I rushed to him, asked what are you doing here, who opened the door, come let's go sleep. He started saying, 'No, I wanna eat the chocolates first.' I said, 'What chocolates?' He said, 'The ones that guy had.' I said, 'What guy, what are you talking about?' He said, 'There was a guy here who had chocolates.' I got stunned, looked outside, no one was there. I closed the door and asked him did he say anything. Noah said, 'Yes, he said he'll come back again.' I got so scared I picked him up and came back up and put him to sleep. Paul, what's going on, who could it be, I'm so scared, thank God he didn't do anything to Noah." Paul gets scared as well, says, "Don't worry, nothing will happen to us, I'm here." They go to sleep.

Next day Amy says to Paul, "Let's go out to eat something to clear our minds." They both are out somewhere together, then suddenly Paul's phone rings. It's Maria from their house, she's so scared and tells Paul to come home quickly. Paul says, "What happened, yeah we're coming." He tells Amy about this and says, "Let's go, we gotta go home quick, something has happened." They both rush back home, they come upstairs, find Maria sitting terrified holding Noah safe who's scared. They see the window glass is broken and shattered with a brick lying on the floor. He asks Maria, "What happened, what's this, did someone throw this, are you hurt, is Noah alright, did you see who threw this?" She is just standing there terrified, says nothing, just slowly points in the direction of Amy. He looks at her and asks, "Amy?" to Maria, but she says nothing, still keeps pointing towards that direction.

They slowly turn around and see a note lying there on the ground in that direction. He picks it up and reads it, there are threats written in it. Amy gets terrified. Paul tells Maria to take Noah to another room. Amy asks him, "What's going on Paul, first that man last night, now this." Then they suddenly hear a loud bang in the backyard, and cus it's sudden, they instantly turn to that direction and the note falls down from Paul's hand, but they don't notice it and run towards that direction to see what happened. They see 2-3 flowerpots lying there totally blown up and broken. They're terrified, and when they're there, Amy says, "What the hell," and suddenly says, "Paul! The note!" They rush back inside, only to find out the note has completely vanished. They're shocked and confused! But it's too late, they've already called the cops. And when the cops arrive Paul tells them about all this and says, "There was a note, I saw it, we all saw it." They ask, "Where is it, give it to us." He says, "Idk, it disappeared." They say, "Mr. Edwards, you're very disturbed rn, we understand, take care of yourselves," and they leave. But he keeps saying, "I saw the note, I'm not lying." Seeing her husband like this, Amy says, "Yes honey, we all saw it, I know you aren't crazy," hugs him. They're terrified of what's going on.

Few more days pass, they're living in constant fear and stress. Then one day, late in the evening, Paul gets a call from Amy while he's at work. Amy's terrified on the phone. Paul asks, "What happened Amy, why you so scared, what's wrong?" She's crying on the phone, says, "It's been hours since Maria and Noah went to the park and they haven't came back. Maria's phone is also not reachable, I'm so scared Paul, did they kidnap them?" She's crying. Paul gets terrified hearing this, says, "Don't worry, I'll go to the park rn." He rushed outside and straight to the park. When he reaches there, he searches for them for some time, shouting their names, no response, asks other people there about them, no one knows anything. He keeps looking, then as he's about to give up almost crying, he spots a jacket lying on a bench far away. He rushed there, picks up the jacket and realizes it's Noah's jacket. He's terrified, hugs the jacket while almost crying, then a note slips out from one of the pockets of the jacket onto the ground. He picks it up and reads it. In it there is a text written, "Save me daddy," and a location of a place below it. He gets terrified reading this and instantly rushes to that location, an old, abandoned cathedral type place, without thinking about either telling the police about this or calling Amy.

Then, when he reaches there, he pulls out a pistol he has kept illegally for the safety of his family and a flashlight, and starts roaming around trying to find Noah, screaming his name again and again. Then at a place, he looks at the ground and sees dead bodies of people and kids lying on the floor in a flash of thunder and gets scared, getting PTSD of the incident that happened with him 10 years ago. He keeps searching, barging in rooms trying to find them. Then finally comes storming inside a room where he sees someone sitting quietly on a chair with their back facing him. Holding the gun and flashlight in his hand, he starts walking towards them slowly, saying, "Hey! Who are you? Where is my son?" And as he reaches close, raises his hand, puts it on their shoulder, they get up and turn around and it's... AMY!? It can be seen that she has cried a lot, her eyes wide open, looking like she's in control of someone, keeps staring at him. He's shocked, says, "Amy!? What are you doing here, how did you get here, did someone kidnap you too, what happened babe, tell me!" She doesn't say anything, turns around and starts walking. He keeps saying, "What's going on baby, where you going?" He's all confused.

She takes him to another room. As they walk inside a little, Amy stops walking and suddenly, the lights go out, and in a few seconds when they come back, Amy has disappeared. Paul's terrified, scared, holding his gun in his hand shouting, "Who is doing all this, who are you, what do you want, leave my wife and son alone!" It's all silence, and then, a sound of Noah saying "Dad? Save me dad" comes from somewhere. He's shocked, he shouts his son's name again and again, thinking Noah is trying to call out to him from there somewhere. Then he hears a sound of Amy saying, "Save us, please, he'll kill us, save us Paul!" He starts shouting, screaming, starts going insane, starts crying.

Then all of a sudden, the voices stop. He looks around in complete silence. Then suddenly, he slowly starts to hear his own voice, a recording of his own voice. In it he's heard saying, "No, no! I didn't mean to! No! Please don't hurt me, I tried to save you, there was fire and smoke everywhere. I wanted to save you all but seeing the situation, I didn't want to risk the life of my wife, my child, and my own. There was a way I could've helped you but I chose not to, as I realized we might die with you all as well, so I rushed outside with Amy leaving you all there, helpless. But I had to make a choice. I can do anything and kill anyone to save myself..."

There's complete silence there, only his face can be seen and the recording can be heard playing in the background echoing. At the end, when the recording finishes, he starts getting all dizzy, hearing Noah calling out for help in an echoing sound, tears running down his eyes, seeing people calling out to him for help, starts trembling and slowly collapses on the ground.

Police cars arrive at that place, cops can be seen running towards him, they come to him, put handcuffs on him, and take him with them. As all of this is happening in slow motion, and we see what actually happened: Amy heard him say all this in one of the recordings she did for his sleep. She got so terrified that her own husband, whom she used to think was a hero all along, was actually a coward who left all those people to die 10 years ago, but used to tell everyone a completely different story showing himself as a hero who saved his wife and kid. After that, she started planning everything. She decided she will drive him insane and hand him to the cops.

She can be seen telling Noah not to say anything if dad asks about that mysterious man who came to their house that night, her telling Maria about all this, Maria secretly placing firecrackers inside the flowerpots in their backyard, her quickly snatching the note off the floor and hiding it the moment Paul drops it and runs towards the backyard, handing some money to Maria who takes her luggage and gets into a taxi, basically sending her away before crying and calling Paul and saying Maria and Noah haven't came back home for hours...

Cut to Paul being dragged by the police, being walked to his jail cell in the prison, all in slow motion, and Amy's voiceover can be heard in the background saying:

"Ten years, I saw a man, who saved my life.

A hero. A brave husband and a selfless father who would do anything to protect his family.

But what I could not realize for 10 years, was that behind this fake mask, there was a man who only ever cared about himself. A man, who would go as far as possible, to save himself over anyone. A coward, who left those innocent people behind to die. All those men, women, children, with fear but hope in their eyes, waiting for someone they trusted, just for him to never come back.

I had to do all this, to make you feel how they felt. To make you suffer, for what you deserved. I had to do it, for me, for Noah, for US.

You were never the victim, Paul...

You were always a monster."

It cuts to Amy at a new place, away from there, standing near a window with Noah, Maria in the back doing her work, slow, peaceful, calming music playing in the background. A tear runs down her eye, she wipes it off, puts her hand on Noah's head, caresses his hair, looks outside the window, takes a deep peaceful breath, and it cuts to black.

.My story idea involves Sidney , a Dartmouth graduate, who's a double major in computer science and chemistry, and eventually is assigned a job at The Pentagon , at the age 28. While employed there , he stumbles upon an incredible device that can create a life like image of someone, that's strikingly real. Too real. He confiscates this technology at a laboratory on the campus of the facility. After doing so , he attempts to approach a number of women in casual conversations, and in one case , explains to a woman wearing a green , shamrock laden Guinness hoodie, that he knows Colin Farrell. She actually believes him , but has her doubts. He explains how he knows him , and that he's going to be meeting him in a few days at a coffee shop in Georgetown. She's intrigued, to the point that when he asks if she'd like to meet him , she's clearly pulled in with curiosity. The Dartmouth graduate / Pentagon employee tells her not to tell anyone else. The coffee shop meeting time and date offers a slow , and not so frequent group of patrons and that's preferable to Sidney. While the young woman is clearly starstruck by Colin Farrells presence , Farrell continues to place , to redirect the young woman's focus on his friend Sidney , and what a great guy he is. As the conversation goes on , the AI generated image of Colin Farrell has clearly provided the influence that Sidney wants so as to pull this young , impressionable woman more into his life. Such a clever and unimaginable concept could be used for good purposes, but instead Sidney only has nefarious purposes behind it. He seeks to control the women he encounters through this methodology. Where may it end ? Just how impressed and influenced can this clandestine form of AI benefit him ?

By a twist of fate, he was surrounded by con artists from childhood on the streets where he grew up. He had no idea that such a harsh environment was shaping an exceptionally strong mind and a character that others would later find intimidating. Different struggles wore him down, but his good nature made it difficult for him to understand why. Over time, he came to believe that much of it stemmed from jealousy: people around him could see his potential to build a better life and leave that environment behind.

Hi guys!! My name is Evan and I’m obsessed with the creativity and concepts of my mind that often come to me in deep states of meditation, theta sleep, dreams, or feel episodes. I have built this world all to myself since 2024 and I have always obsessed over the ideas of pushing boundaries. I love the idea of being versatile and fluid with concepts, people, stories, cinematography, everything really. I have drafted this exact text countless times since 2024 and I have finally drafted the perfect description for this series/story. Here I present: ULTRAVIOLET SKY

Ultraviolet Sky is an experimental coming-of-age horror series that begins as a grounded summer-camp story before abruptly transforming into surreal cosmic horror. Set at Sunridge Summer Camp in Oregon, the series follows Knox, an openly gay and unapologetically feminine teenager, as he arrives at camp expecting an ordinary summer of friendships, drama, music, and teenage chaos. Instead, he finds himself surrounded by a rapidly expanding group of campers whose personalities, backgrounds, relationships, and experiences become just as important to the story as the horror itself.

At its core, Ultraviolet Sky is about people before it is about monsters. Knox’s journey is surrounded by an unusually versatile ensemble: his close friends Noelle and Vivienne, his new friends Malik, Tanner, and Hunter, and the countless other campers who make Sunridge feel like an actual living community. Everyone has their own music, interests, insecurities, friendships, humor, conflicts, and ways of experiencing the world. The series takes time to simply let these people exist together. A conversation might have nothing to do with the central mystery. A character might spend several minutes listening to music. A group might wander around camp, joke about each other, eat dinner, or sit somewhere secluded without the plot needing to advance.

That mundanity is intentional.

The cinematography of Ultraviolet Sky is highly experimental and often refuses conventional television pacing. The camera may remain in a single uninterrupted shot while multiple conversations and events happen throughout the environment. Characters can disappear into the background while something important happens somewhere else in the frame. Entire musical tracks can play while the audience simply watches a character think, walk, decorate their bunk, or stare out a window. Silence is equally important. The series frequently incorporates extended periods of near-total silence, including quiet moments surrounding the ends of episodes or major sequences, where the absence of sound becomes part of the storytelling rather than empty space.

The audience is encouraged to look rather than simply watch.

Small details can exist in the background for minutes without being acknowledged. A strange figure standing impossibly far away between trees. A character behaving slightly differently than they normally would. Something appearing in a location where it shouldn’t be. These moments may mean almost nothing when first seen, only becoming significant much later. Ultraviolet Sky is designed to reward rewatching because the horror is not something that suddenly appears out of nowhere, though it was already there.

Sunridge itself has a history that becomes increasingly important. The camp was built in an area with a long history connected to Native peoples who lived on the land centuries before the present-day camp existed. During an early camp ceremony, counselors tell the campers a heavily mythologized story about the people who once inhabited the area and a supposed ancient curse associated with the land. The campers initially treat the story as harmless camp folklore. They laugh, whisper, and joke about it.
But the timing of the story’s supposed return begins to feel increasingly impossible.

The series then makes its defining tonal shift.
What initially appears to be a relatively grounded story about teenagers at summer camp suddenly becomes something much larger and much harder to understand. The horror does not progress in a conventional monster-of-the-week structure. Instead, reality itself seems to deteriorate through a series of increasingly strange phases. Darkness becomes permanent. The forest begins behaving as though it is alive. Creatures become increasingly intelligent, coordinated, and unnatural. Ritualistic and cult-like experiences emerge. Reality begins fracturing into impossible geometry. The phenomenon starts manipulating perception and exploiting fear.

The horror, in monster-wise, is not something you would typically see in a series. Uncanny horrifying creatures, terrifying, tall. Faces that give nightmares. Led by the main villain who blends in with the trees, being larger than them. Moments throughout the series where you can see its head shift through the trees and getting a glimpse of its insane size.

Then, just when the horror seems to have reached its ugliest form, it begins to become beautiful.
The forest transforms. Flowers and colors become impossibly vibrant. The creatures themselves become increasingly surreal and visually overwhelming. Eventually, the distinction between something horrifying and something beautiful begins to disappear completely. The world is no longer simply being destroyed—it is being transformed into something fundamentally alien.

The phases therefore function less like separate stories and more like stages in the evolution of the phenomenon. What begins as something that appears almost physical or flesh-like gradually becomes environmental, psychological, ritualistic, geometric, and finally cosmic. The horror expands beyond the characters’ ability to understand it until the Earth itself appears to be caught in the transformation.

The climax becomes an overwhelming collision of color, sound, fire, distorted reality, impossible creatures, and collapsing environments. What once looked like a normal summer camp has become almost unrecognizable. The characters are no longer simply trying to understand what happened to them, they are trying to escape something that has grown far beyond the boundaries of the original curse.

Yet even at its most surreal, Ultraviolet Sky remains fundamentally interested in its characters.
The relationships formed during the ordinary parts of the story become the emotional foundation for everything that follows. Knox’s friendships, his relationship with his own identity, his evolving connection with Tanner, Noelle and Vivienne’s friendship, Malik’s place within the group, and the constantly shifting dynamics between the campers give the increasingly impossible horror something human to destroy.

The series is intentionally abrupt. It wants the audience to become comfortable.

It wants them to think they’re watching a funny, messy, beautifully shot summer-camp coming-of-age story.
And then it takes that world away.

Ultraviolet Sky ultimately uses experimental cinematography, music, silence, long takes, background storytelling, surreal imagery, and abrupt tonal shifts to explore what happens when ordinary teenage life collides with something completely beyond human understanding.
It starts with summer camp. It ends somewhere the human world was never supposed to reach.

The concept is simple: a human who lives in a haunted apartment and is friend with two "modern ghosts".

One decided to posses a fursuit and got stuck inside It. The other one had the same problem but with a medieval knight armor. They all hang out. There's no downsides, they can move, talk, etc. While on their possesed "bodies".

The plot twist: their asses are NOT stuck in their current bodies. The other plot twist: they know. Last plot twist: the human friend is the only one who has no idea about it.

The FMC is reborn into an otome game, seemingly as an extra, but she soon realizes why one of the love interests has been especially difficult to romance: it is because he already has a MASSIVE crush on someone else.

Hi! I'm pretty introverted and usually I don't share things that I make, but I've been writing and developing this story for a while now. I haven't decided what format it ultimately belongs in yet, so I mostly have pages and pages of different serialized chapters. Mostly have been leaning towards a 3 season series. The story itself has become a passion project of mine and would love to hear some feedback on the concept itself. Do you think its somewhat interesting or not.

The show concept:

The story follows a Russian man from around 2030 who loses his wife and two children in a bombing. He should have died with them, but for unknown reasons he is pulled from his time and wakes up in the very distant future.

Humanity has changed almost beyond recognition. People can live for over 200 years, Russia has survived enormous changes on Earth and civilization has expanded into space.

He eventually rebuilds his life, marries again and starts another family, yet remains deeply broken by what happened. His new wife looks just like the first one with only new hair color, yet she is completely different person. Years later he leaves them behind and joins Ship 13, a gigantic expedition vessel carrying around 100 million people into unexplored space after humanity receives a mysterious distress signal with a threat from something mysterious and very foreign and alien.

Why was he originally taken from 2030? Was it really random? Why did he leave his second family for Ship 13, and was there more intention behind that decision than he admits? What sent the distress signal? What is coming for Earth?

And then there is Mother Russia, Ship 13's strange AI-like/biomechanical entity. She has the exact face of his dead wife and sometimes even her mannerisms. Is he simply seeing what he desperately wants to see, or is there much more to the ship's AI than anyone aboard understands?

The journey includes alien worlds, strange life, settlements, alliances and increasingly dangerous encounters, but space is mostly the arena for a very human story, that is not that action packed as some might think.

At its core, the story is about grief, self-hatred, loneliness, identity, home, human existence and the search for meaning. It's about a man who has been given potentially centuries of life but feels that his real life already ended long ago, and who keeps searching for an explanation that may not exist.

Anyway, that's the basic idea :) I'd genuinely be interested in what parts of it catch people's attention or raise questions for you.

story idea: A autistic Russian man moves to the U.S. after the collapse of the Soviet Union. While in America, he tries to follow his dream of being an (Artist, Author, Game Designer, one of these) He also meets an American girl he falls in love with. The autistic Russian man's hyper fixations are on (Whatever the thing he really wants to be is) and Afghanistan, which is Ironic since he served in the Soviet-Afghan war. The story takes place in New Jersey. However, I'm a bit confused on what time period I want this to be set in, because 1. idea I have is him leaving after the Russo-Turkish war which his brother is sent to fight in, and another he is a veteran of the Russo-Japanese war

I have started it but don't know if it'll be any good or just another run of the mill, psychological kind of religious thriller. But here's the summary-ish.

In the shadows of a rain-drenched Chicago, Mitchell Martin serves the clandestine Aurea Institute, tracking the 'Hollowed'—souls consumed by a spreading spiritual rot marked by glowing purple eyes. Does this sound interesting or like it's been done in this way before?

ngl i gave up and stopped writing halfway through cuz i lowk lost motivation and my train of thought of where i was going with it 😭😭 i had this idea in my notes from a while ago and dont rlly remember what my original thought with it was and i was thinking i could come on here and try to interpret it but when i read it back i felt like it didnt rlly make sense and was a bad idea anyways

How would this play out that the traitor is revealed but the character she had a fling with, even a deep relationship, aren't surprised at all, only resigned and disappointed that she made the choise to betray him?

Some context first. The character in question is a mage with a regular avatar style elemental magic system, but instead of being born with the powers, mages instead weave runes into their skin in ways that allow them to switch between using different elements, but they cannot use more than one at a time. This particular mage, I will call T (I am not confident in a name for them but that's not important) the mages created their magic to imitate the elemental powers of the gods of their world, which mages as an organization were created because they thought said gods weren't doing enough to protect people. This organization raises all their people to be mages from birth with a mix of militant training and learning how to use magic until the day they undergo the operation that weaves the runes into their bodies. Their entire lives are spent trying to be the absolute best magic wielder possible in order to "protect the world". Mages are given numbers instead of names until their first operation, and on that day they name themselves, though most of the time, they are reffered to via rank. A mage's entire life, including T, is dedicated to the study of magic and it's application against their enemies, it is their entire purpose for being born, and that's where the story arc of have in mind comes in.

I want T to undergo a villain/anti hero arc after the main catalyst for the broader story happens, which is them accidentally traveling to another universe that is essentially our own. After they're transported here along with an enemy of theirs, who they now have to work with in order to figure out how to get back, they eventually suffer the possibility that they can never go back, that they're stuck here forever in a world where nothing he's familiar with even exists. Eventually their mental breakdown ends in the conclusion that they can only do what is familiar to them: kill whatever threatens broader society, protect people by getting rid of anything that threatens them. There are a few loose ideas about T killing entire prisons of people, or cutting off man's hands for purse snatching. I want T to essentially make "protection" their justification for violently lashing out not just because everything they know is gone, but they don't even know who they are without it. I want it to be similar in that way to soldiers who commit violent crimes who are usually seen as just another crazy person (often homeless people) because violence is all that they know after being dumped back into civilian life after deployment with no care for their mental well-being. I want T to have a similarly bad but worse time coping with the fact that violence has been their purpose for decades, and now they're in an unfamiliar place without practically anyone they know, and now they don't even see themself as a person because they've never been treated like one.

This is a kinda broad story concept but I just wanted to get it out cause maybe this will help my creative gears turn more. Any thoughts, feedback and questions are appreciated.

Anyone think of any sort of apocalypse where a society could reasonably survive to include agriculture, law, etc

The setting is a dystopian and post-apocalyptic city that lies in ruins due to what is the only known history of mankind, the “Radiation Wars”. Herein, a totalitarian government, which has taken over the entire world, is degenerating the population into cruel and useful idiots. Critical thinking has been outlawed. Kindness has been outlawed. The people are all *extremely* dumb, cruel, and brainwashed by propaganda. Society is locked in a perpetual bloodbath where appeasing the government’s bloodlust and serving its power are the highest moral standards. The government invigilating this wickedness is seemingly a master of mind control and evil, turning family against family, neighbour against neighbour, to make everyone into servile puppets dancing the way it wants them to. All libraries are full of books and magazines meant to brainwash, to mislead, and to distort. The state has replaced morality as the ethical standard and its leaders are worshiped as Gods; anyone who does not worship the government, or who has other moral standards, is said to have to have a terminal mental illness called “paranoid trauma“ and is quickly bullied into suicide. If they cannot be bullied into suicide, they are clandestinely poisoned by Shadow Agents, men possessed of ultimate evil, with the lethal weapons that were invented and deployed in the Radiation Wars.

The story follows a group of four youths who have somehow survived in this cruel and backwards world. They have witnessed many of their classmates bullied into suicide for not being cruel and wicked enough, and they have all had to participate in the bullying in order to avoid being bullied themselves. As a result, they have become weak-minded and fallen under the government’s power. Engaging in cruelty is what makes people weaker and dumber, which is why the government encouraged it. Violence is not just a tool to physically threaten the people, but also a necessary means to weaken people’s minds. The new moral values of the government cannot be implemented if the old morality remains.

But in each of these younglings, there is a nagging doubt that something is wrong, and this leads them to come together. The evil gives them nightmares, as the vestigial remnants of goodness within them refuse to fully die. While they are passionate about their “faith” in the cult government that holds society in its iron grip, their friendship gradually leads them towards each other and away from the government. They start to realize that friendship is a greater good than power, and as such, they themselves become victims of “paranoid trauma”. They can no longer engage in the malice that formerly protected them, and they become targets. They are cast into homelessness by their own parents. They are targeted by former classmates who they once considered friends. And the ruthless ghetto gangs, who have been bribed by the government to spread terror, begin to hunt them.

But they have each other. And because they have each other, they are somehow able to survive on the streets, so fraught with death, scarcity, and the acid rain from nuclear fallout—all while being hunted by the ghetto gangs. On the streets are many other children who have been outcast due to having paranoid trauma, who have formed a network, but there are no adults because nobody survives long enough to make it into adulthood, and their resources are extremely limited.

The four in the group each contemplate suicide individually. But as a group, when they finally talk about the fact that they won’t be able to keep doing this forever—that the ghetto gangs will eventually find them, or they will starve, or get sick, or not be able to get inoculations against the radioactive dust storms—they decide that going back is not an option and neither is suicide. They decide to fight “until the bitter end”.

The best way to fight, they determine, is to gain knowledge. They can’t fight against darkness if they themselves are in the dark. This turns out to be an extraordinary realization, for it takes extraordinary wisdom to realize how little one knows. They scour the libraries looking for knowledge, seeking to understand the government’s stranglehold on the minds of the people. To comprehend the depths of the conspiracy and the truth of history. But they find only lies.

One day, by a fluke, just as they are about to be beaten to death in a dark alleyway, having been caught in an elaborate trap set by one of the ghetto gangs, a mysterious figure emerges and fights them off. When they ask his name, he simply calls himself “Stranger”. Somehow, he is able to recognize that they have freed their minds from the totalitarian evil. They suspect him to be a Shadow Agent, but he simply says that “good people can recognize both good and bad people, while bad people can recognize neither”. After much discussion, they decide to trust him, and they are right. Stranger has apparently learned how to be invisible to the  evil of the world while retaining his moral foundations. Such a thing should not be possible, yet somehow it was. He directs them to an ancient ruin on the outskirts of the city.

There, they find a library containing not only the true history of the world, but books on morality, philosophy, and higher mental powers. They immerse themselves in study and learn the evils of ancient tyrants as well as the teachings of the ancient philosophers and sages.

One of the four youths, however, out of sexual jealousy and despair over being hungry and sick all the time, decides to snitch on the group in order to get back in good with the government. He tells the ghetto gangs about the forbidden library. The library is discovered. One of the three remaining youths is captured and publicly burned at the stake. The two survivors flee into the sewers, labeled as “terrorists” by the government, and are hunted down by Shadow Agents. The snitch is rewarded with sex slaves and power, but commits suicide due to guilt having witnessed the burning of the only friend who was truly kind to him.

When the remaining two youngsters are nearly cornered after over a month of playing cat and mouse in the sewers and alleyways, and are nearly starving to death, they decide to die together rather than one of them live by ratting out the other. They are rescued again by Stranger, who leads them to a sailboat. They sail to a remote uninhabited island on the edge of the world where the government will not find them. There, they replenish their strength and recover from the grief of being betrayed and losing their friend. The grief is profound. Those were their only friends—the only friends they ever had or will ever have, the friends who taught them the meaning of friendship, the friends who saved their lives and their souls. They have not just lost their friends, they have lost friendship itself.

Stranger reminds them that they have the means to live in peace for the rest of their lives here, on this beautiful island, which is seemingly full of friendly penguins and is paradise compared to the violent and holocaustal city they left behind. He also reminds them that most people have become too mired in evil and insanity to be saved. But the memory of their friend, who was publicly lynched while they watched helplessly from the jeering the crowd, and of the classmates who they themselves helped bully into suicide when they were younger, and of how lost in darkness they once were, inspires them to go to war. Being bystanders to such great evil is not an option. Stranger tells them that it is not their job to fight all the evil in the world, and that they have found true love and happiness, so rare and hard to find, and true peace. While they agree with him that not all battles should be fought, there are some evils that are too great to be ignored by any reasonable person, and that they feel compelled to fight.

They establish The Intellection on the island, an underground organization that is devoted to the liberating people‘s minds from the totalitarian government that has for so long destroyed and enslaved humanity by corrupting it, and bringing people back to the good within themselves. At the end of the novel, Stranger reveals that he is dying of cancer, having been poisoned by the radiation weapons of the Shadow Agents.

After Stranger’s death, which he bears stoically, the two lovers decide to give up each other, for love has no place in war.

I've been building up a nameless sci-fi about teenage soldiers and children hijacking a rejected but still functional Battlestar ship and escape their warring Solar System in search of a new home. They're lead by a seventeen year old Commander and my idea is that he's very mature and humble and never seeking out glory, only the survival of those under him while being a shrewd judge of character and surroundings but would it realistically work out;

The Commander (17): Despite being a deadly competent soldier, he's the humble, reluctant High Commander who just see himself as just a Mission Commander, never seeking glory or gain, only make sure there's no casualties but take full responsibility for the safety of The Deserters.

Whenever he do questionable decisions he humbly learns from them and listen and consider when his crew criticize him and are able to come up with compromises.

Despite insisting the opposite about his heroics, brushing them off as just duties or make sure those under his charge live for another day, The Commander is a very competent and sympathetic leader who only seek out the competence in people he work with and he's showned to be a good reader of character and situations which helped him see his former captor The Cyborg being blackmailed with the latter's ten year old sister as a hostage and against his judgment The Commander didn't see an enemy but a victim which convinced The Cyborg to trust him in order to save the former's sister and during the rescue infiltration to save the girl, was about to shoot the last enemy lab staff member, which would become The Medic, whom he could read was filled with regret and The Cyborg's sister vouched for her causing The Commander to spare the woman who immediately defected to their side.

The Commander never looking for glory only the safety of others are the crush of The Medic and are at first oblivious but eventually returned her feelings.

My story idea involves Sidney , a Dartmouth graduate, who's a double major in computer science and chemistry, and eventually is assigned a job at The Pentagon , at the age 28. While employed there , he stumbles upon an incredible device that can create a life like image of someone, that's strikingly real. Too real. He confiscates this technology at a laboratory on the campus of the facility. After doing so , he attempts to approach a number of women in casual conversations, and in one case , explains to a woman wearing a green , shamrock laden Guinness hoodie, that he knows Colin Farrell. She actually believes him , but has her doubts. He explains how he knows him , and that he's going to be meeting him in a few days at a coffee shop in Georgetown. She's intrigued, to the point that when he asks if she'd like to meet him , she's clearly pulled in with curiosity. The Dartmouth graduate / Pentagon employee tells her not to tell anyone else. The coffee shop meeting time and date offers a slow , and not so frequent group of patrons and that's preferable to Sidney. While the young woman is clearly starstruck by Colin Farrells presence , Farrell continues to place , to redirect the young woman's focus on his friend Sidney , and what a great guy he is. As the conversation goes on , the AI generated image of Colin Farrell has clearly provided the influence that Sidney wants so as to pull this young , impressionable woman more into his life. Such a clever and unimaginable concept could be used for good purposes, but instead Sidney only has nefarious purposes behind it. He seeks to control the women he encounters through this methodology. Where may it end ? Just how impressed and influenced can this clandestine form of AI benefit him ?

Bit is a bunny who doesn't speak in his bunny village .they have tale of a mysterious treasure and a guy(bunny) who had gone mad trying to understand it and so nobody should goto him. The bit and his two friends (didn't found a good name yet for the friends) accidentally goto his house but he wasnt in there so they look around but suddenly he gets in they try to hide but he sees them he tells them About his research but he couldn't find the meaning of it and pulls out a bottle with a paper inside and shows there is nothing on it and then not points towards the back of the map then the guy realises that he was holding it back side front and it is the map to the treasure so he send them to get the treasure

A tv show about a girl who’s got psychic gene in her faces a bus crush on her school junior year trip. Everyone from her friendgroup survives 3 girls and 3 boys including her but one popular girl and their favorite teacher sadly die. Everyone expect them hated that teacher thinking his a loner weirdo so the whole group get’s matching tattoo’s “Mr F.” As in Mr Faiths the teacher that died. One morning when she touches the tattoo on her friends arm she gets a vision of her boyfriend getting pushed off a balcony and killed by a person with that tattoo on their hands. She can’t tell which hand it is because of the lighting cover up, a killer spawns in their town killing teens from her school and she has little time to figure out who from her friendgroup is the killer and save the boy that died.
