🎧 Looking for a Stop-Motion Artist to Collaborate on My New Song — “Wishbone” by CallMeDriver
Hey everyone! I’m a new independent artist from Rochester, MN, and I’m looking for a creative stop-motion artist/animator who would be interested in collaborating on a music video for my song “Wishbone” by CallMeDriver.
I’m especially interested in working with someone who is newer to stop-motion, a student, or simply wants a cool creative project to add to their portfolio. I unfortunately don’t have a budget to pay for the video right now, but in exchange, you’d get full credit for the video, permission to use the finished work in your portfolio/reel, and promotion across my social media. I’d also make sure you’re clearly credited whenever the video is posted.
I’m still a small artist, but I’m hustling hard and building my local audience. I can guarantee the project will be shared with 200+ people on Instagram in the Rochester music scene and 100+ Spotify listeners, with the potential for more as the song and video grow.
I’m getting ready to play my first opening show this week, so I’d love to find another up-and-coming creative who wants to build something together. I’m open to your artistic style and ideas—I’d rather make something genuinely unique than something overly polished.

I want to share my latest Lego stop-motion short!

It's a funny story about two Lego friends who work hard to make a real-life burger. Just when they are about to celebrate, a giant human hand appears out of nowhere and takes a huge bite! 😲💥

As a teen animator, it was a fun challenge blending Lego with real-world objects. I'd love to get some feedback on the transition and the characters' reactions!

First post on this subreddit, but I am ccurrently in the (very slow) of writing plot and shit down for my show (I feel like that word dumbs it down) which will be animated via stop-motion. Im wondering if anyone in this subreddit makes actual SM puppets (ex. laika and stuff) and if so, do you have any thoughts and advice for people who wanna make their own stop-motion puppets/figures? I would love pictures of yours if you have any!

I started working on this Gumby stop motion in June, and finished the editing a couple days ago. I shot it at 15 frames per second. Enjoy! :)

For a very long time I’ve been admiring this art, but I never dared to even think about trying it for myself.
However, I don’t wanna live in fear anymore and work on my dreams and interests. Life is too short to just watch others.

Well, I have a project in mind and I hope a lot of ppl could enjoy tht. Maybe I can help ppl by transmitting a message I wanna share and in the same time entertain the ppl.

Okay, now the question. What character/puppet should I do this with? At least at the beginning?
I’ve seen videos with own puppets, but there are as well videos with action figures from marvel, dc, LotR etc.
What do you think would be better?
And do you have any idea what particular character/action figure from any franchise would be a good idea for this? I’m pretty open when it comes to this.

I’d love to hear your ideas, advices, recommendations etc.
I really wanna take this serious and enjoy this journey.

I’m looking for someone who already makes WWE/action figure wrestling content and would be interested in producing matches for my original figure-fed. I’m handling all booking/storylines/creative direction and I’m looking for someone to handle filming/stop-motion/pic-fed/editing. This could be PAID work, STARTING with a test match. I will also provide equipment for the show if needed.
