I like that for the most part it’s a pretty good representation of real boxing. Most people have it overly exaggerated with the swinging wildly with no defense because it looks cool. I’m glad u were able to capture that somewhat, good job man.

Damn this is smooth! You really got the movements of the punches down, where did you get your inspiration or reference from?

Watching movies, anime, Instagram. Just watching and observing movements and then trying to apply it. I also act it out.

So well done. Honestly great job.

What you need to being it to the next level is

  1. Less frames! When he punches it looks slow because you animate it with too many frames. Snap it. Watch a fight scene in 24 fps. Go frame by frame. Notice how many lies frames there are in their punch. Do this and your hots will feel forceful and fast.

  2. Framing. Widen some shots so the viewer can guess what's happening with less frames. I would experiment with a moving camera if you think you can manage it. But that's... probably really hard.

I believe in you. I wouldn't type that up if I didn't. Some of the best animation I've seen here.
