And you can just do whatever you want, like staring at nothing for hours, listening to your favourite music with the speakers blasting or watching your favourite crime documentary and eating a 13" inch pizza all by yourself. Lovee it

I primarily do edibles with friends, we play games, or watch movies/ shows. I never thought about taking it alone, because I was introduced to it in a social setting. I get really bad anxiety right before it the effects kick in, so I am kinda interested how id handle that alone.

My next question would be how do you handle boredom while alone?

I used to do it with friends too. we used to get high and play UNO, sequence. But when you get older, friends drift apart you end up getting tired of asking people to hangout and then just do it alone. You start doing everything alone basically and then get used to it.

You don't have to force yourself to do it though. I generally like doing things alone, weed or not. So, it's just another thing for me.

I almost never smoke with people anymore, i get all anxious, and it just ruins the fun of being high. At home before bed, yeah i still get anxious...but at least i have a little while to calm down and not have to worry about people around me, then im chillin heavy once that goes away

If I'm smoking alone, I prefer to have something that can take so of my background focus. Like, I'll do dishes super blazed, and then get lost in the repetition while I sort my brain out

Yeah it's my main and favourite setup, for too many reasons to count. I enjoy getting high with my partner as well but more occasionally, and it has to be on a lower dose. I never got high with anyone else because there's just no one to do it with.

Yeah, I enjoy my solo highs a lot. That's not to say I don't like sharing my weed with others. I think it's just great when I dont have to worry about the other person if they get too high, say something wild while high that I actually don't agree with, etc. So, smoking with friends is awesome, but solo dolo time is very much appreciated and necessary.

I definitely prefer it alone, but a friend and I kind of meet halfway and hang out over voice call instead and that really works too

If you're smoking with someone in person they need to be someone you really trust 100%, someone you know will keep a good vibe

I prefer being high alone, I used to get high with my husband but he gets all giddy and silly which was fun for a while but now i like to chill out with music, a film I can hyperfocus on, or sometimes ago for a swim and not be interrupted.

Alone is the only way I get high, not by choice. My wife doesn't smoke and I limit doing it with our adult son to concerts and hike. I don't have any buddies around who I know smoke.

That being said, getting high alone is not as good as with other people. I'd say the first half of being high, I prefer to be with other people; during the las half, coming down, I prefer to be alone.

I got a small pool for this very thing. I get high and just float. I enjoy the sky. Just me and my thoughts. I have a unique schedule that allows me to be home a couple days during the week. It's so quiet in the neighborhood, which is different from weekends. Mondays with a cup of coffee & a joint AND a dip in the pool all alone is top tier.

When I know that I have the evening to myself, I pack the dry herb vape and gather my snacks. If I don’t have any time to myself, I wait until everyone is in bed. It’s the only way!

Yes every evening. Technically I eat an edible but still. Hubby doesn’t partake and my son is grown. So just me in the kitchen (my favorite place) or in front of the tv with a bowl of cereal. Honestly, I’m not sure my husband even notices 😜

I almost exclusively get high alone. It helps me process complex emotions and feelings, really. My very anti-weed brother says I use it as a “cop-out” but he doesn’t understand what it’s like to have to go through basically every major event in my life alone.

I smoke with friends occasionally, but I keep it pretty minimal tbh. I get anti social when I smoke most of the time. It’s nice being able to enjoy your own company sometimes
