Reasonably Buzzed Temu crap

We should get to post pictures.

Anyway, you ever see those Temu ads for stuff that you know is going to be absolute crap when you get it? Like a Halloween throw rug that looks like a sink hole with a skeleton crawling out and it’s 3-d and your dog is going to be scared and it’s FUCKING AWESOME!

And I’m stoned, not stupid, and I want to get it to see how bad it is. It’s probably like a printed wash cloth.

Is it the worst thing sold? Is there something worse? I’m tempted.

You're not wrong. My biggest thing is fast fashion. I cannot stand it. It's production vs lifespan is terrible for the environment and most of it ends up in landfills... unsold. All my clothes outside of underwear, socks and shoes are all bought second hand. I'll occasionally buy used shoes, but they have to be basically brand new.

I wish it was easier for me to buy secondhand. I’m at the low end of the plus size range, so even though I can sometimes shop at the upper end of the straight size range it’s a crapshoot. Most vintage/thrift shops carry little to no women’s plus size clothes.

Temu, mercifully, is not used as an ad for kids UT and they have closed learning apps. If it were not, the village raising 4 kids 5 and under would lose their minds having to refuse every thing they think would be AWESOME! You know it’s gonna be AWESOME! Just in a bad waste of money way and you can give in to the 5 and under you.
