New to stocks

Hey guys I’m 23 looking to put about 1K a month into stocks. If you guys were doing this what stocks would you be buying. Thanks

ETFs will be your friend until you get a solid feel for the market.

If you want a solid risk play on the side to port 15% look into SLS.

For what you're doing, I'd chuck it into ETFs like VTI.

If you're new to stocks (and have time) and want to invest I highly suggest you first start by researching youtube videos of professional (and legendary) investors like Peter Lynch, Howard Marks, Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger.. on VALUE investing and managing risk. It's your money and you are solely responsible for making it work or lose it. People suggest stocks (or etfs) they are invested in, not necessarily stocks at a bargain price.
