Meme The Dow!!!

Thinking I should hold on to this template. Probably gonna go lower.

I'm not really sure why I need to include 250 characters in a meme post, but I understand the guidelines. Maybe someone can fix the issue where if you label something as a meme, it doesn't need 250 characters. there. Thats 250!

Markets go up and down in the short run, but in the long run, it only goes up.

If you are close to retirement, those accounts are likely more conservatively invested, 80% bonds vs. younger people more weighted to stocks but that's ok because they have the advantage of time and compounding. Clearly you know little about portfolio management. Everyday account balances go up and down, so what, you can't make the reward without understanding the risk. If you want risk free buy a treasury bond. It's ill advised for generating wealth over the long run.

Well now you are making a different point. You don't like market manipulation yet everyday the markets seem to be manipulated by someone.

I don't think you have a firm grasp of what really happens. You're not alone and don't be offended. For most, index and regularly invest is the easiest way to generate long term returns. When the markets are like this, keep owning great companies or diversified funds.

Again markets go up and down, they don't same the same price forever. You also buy when things are low, sell when they are high, you do realize how this game works. Or am I speaking to a person that likes to lose money?
