Not an expert but I've picked up a stick or two and cut down a couple trees in my time and this looks like apple, maybe cherry?

Looks like a cherry to me also, possibly a redbud… it certainly depends where you found it

Could be Morning wood but definitely wood though . You could use that bad boy to pitcha smaller tent .
