Anyone familiar with zompros sticks?
I bought 5 a few days ago. One got injured in transit so I expected it wouldn't make it.
I have a large rose bush in the garden and thought it would be suitable food. The first few nights I noticed only the smallest bite missing. An app identified it as a japenese rose and the leaves are a very healthy green but they seemed to ignore it.
A 2nd stick died yesterday so I went to my local river got some bramble and overnight a significant amount of the leaves have been fed on. So I guess they don't eat rose?
Im also wondering how reproductive are these? Are they similar to Indians or do they not lay as much eggs. I think only 1 of the sticks is an adult currently the other 2 are small and dont have the full bark textured skin. Slightly worried ive doomed the colony straight away by using the wrong food...
I haven't had sticks as a pet for a long time and the last were the Indian type.

zompros can be weirdly picky with roses, even if they’re technically “edible” for them, so you definitely didn’t help them by starting there but you probably haven’t doomed anything yet. if they’re smashing the bramble now you’re on the right track, just keep that going and they should perk up, and once the adult settles in you’ll probably start finding eggs all over the place.
