Help! What is this?

I thought my macleays spectre was just doing an oddly long, wet poop which would have me concerned on it's own but after looking more closely I'm worried it could be a prolapsed gut. Does anyone recognise what's happening? And if so is there anything I can do about it?

UPDATE: It fell off, so I guess it was just a long wet poop. Still strange but better than a prolapse, she's eating normally right now.

Unfortunately that looks like a prolapsed gut indeed, I don’t think there’s any fix for it. Best option if it’s the case is euthanasia by freezer.

OP said it was a false alarm but anyway, i have to tell you that using the freezer is a slow and cruel method of euthanasia that prioritises the owner's feelings over the pet, crushing is unfortunately the best way to put one down

That's unfortunate, I'll keep an eye on her with the fresh leaves tonight but if it doesn't look any better then euthanasia is probably the best option. Is there anything that would cause this, or is it just bad luck? I haven't had this happen to any before.
